I. Call to Order
• Vice-President Oren Lefkowitz called the SAC Senate meeting to order
in room 102 on Tuesday, February 16th, 2010 @ 11:45am.

II. Roll call

• Please see attendance sheet.

III. Approval of Minutes – February 2nd, 2010

• The Minutes were approved.

IV. Opening Issues

1. Senator Bake sale (ISD Shannon Hill)
• All Senators should get involved in the bake sale.
• All proceeds made from the event will be donated to Haiti.
• The bake sale will take place on Friday, February 26th, 2010 at
lunch in the front hall.
• A sheet will be passed around for Senators to sign up to bake
items and to help sell at lunch.

V. Statements by Executive
1. President Raphael Elkabas-Besnard
• There were no statements from President Raphael Elkabas-
Besnard.

2. Vice-President Oren Lefkowitz

• Ask not what the Student Council can do for you, but what you
can do for the Student Council.

3. Treasurer Casey Li
• There were no statements from Treasurer Casey Li.

4. ESD Sally Rylett

• There were no statements from ESD Sally Rylett.

5. ISD Shannon Hill

• There were no statements from ISD Shannon Hill.

6. Secretary Sarah Feeney

• There were no statements from Secretary Sarah Feeney.

VI. Statements by Senators

1. PTA Senator (Meng Bao)
• The PTA Senator was not present.

2. Super Council Senator (Albert Hu & Dustin Stern)

• A Super Council leadership retreat will take place.
• Grade 9 and 10 Senators are needed.
• If you are interested in being on the Super Council in the future,
this would be a great way to meeting people.

3. Foundation Senator (Daniel Sorek)

• There was a Foundation meeting last week on Thursday.
• The time capsule project was discussed and a Facebook group
will be started tonight.
• Cindy English will be helping with this project.

VII. New Business

• There is no new business.

VIII. Discussion and Question Period

• Q. What is happening with Semi Formal. A. The new date is April
9th, 2010.
• Q. April 9th, 2010 is the day of a rugby tournament. Will this be a
problem? A. The dance will be taking place at night and the
tournament should be done by then, so it shouldn’t be a
problem.

IX. Adjournment
• The meeting was adjourned at 11:50am.
