Will Smith has come a long way since his glimpse of fame as a
music artist in 1988 for winning his first Grammy in the rap
category. (found success with Clean rap!)

Will Smiths first major roles were: Six Degrees of Separation

in 1993 and Bad Boys in 1995.
In 1996 Will Smith starred in the film Independence Day. It was
a massive blockbuster. *At its time it was the second highest
grossing film in history. This film is what reallllly established Will
Smith.
In 1997, Men in Black was another huge success.
In 1998, Enemy of the State was just as successful.

Will Smiths career was booming. So much that in 2005, Smith was
entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for attending three
premieres in a 24-hour time span.
0n December 10th, 2007 Smith was honored at Graumans
Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Smith left an imprint of
his hands and feet outside the famous theatre in front of a crowd
of fans. This imprint ceremony signifies that you have really
made it to the top in Hollywood.

*On December 1, 2008 TV Guide reported that Smith was
selected as one of Americas top ten most fascinating people of
2008 in an ABC Special that aired on December 4th, 2008.
Men in Black III opened on May 25th, 2012
Smith and his son Jaden played father and son in two
productions: In 2006, The Pursuit of Happyness and also the
most recent film After Earth released May 31st, 2013.
Will Smith has two sons, Jaden and Willow. Was married to Sheree
Zampino but divorced.

*Smith was consistently listed in Fortune Magazines Richest 40 list

of the forty wealthiest Americans under the age of 40.
During the 2012 Presidential Election Smith was one of the top
fundraisers for the 2012 Obama-Biden campaign. He hosted a
fundraiser at his home. It raised more than $500,000.
He is a Christian. However he says, I am a student of all religious, and
I respect all people and all paths.
Smith gave $1.3 million to charities in 2007, of which $450,000
went to two Christian ministries, and $122,500 went to three
Scientology organizations. The rest went to Christian-based
schools and churches as well as a memorial center in Israel and
has founded many private elementary schools in Calabasas,
California, the New Village Leadership Academy. In 2010 he had
already donated $1.2 million to the school in 2010.
In 2009, Will Smith earned Entertainer of the decade.

Those are the wishful words of Will Smith, my favorite actor.
Will Smith is known for his many successful movies he has starred in.
There is no doubt he has built his empire in the entertainment industrybut Will Smiths contributions to the world go far beyond his acting
scripts and your movie tix
His desire to help others is stronger than any desire for a grammy or
#1 spot in the box office.
The best part about Will Smith is that this desire to make the
world a better place has been expressed in both words and actions.
I love both his movies and his character as a person. He is my
role model.
