The relative success of the Experiment of Life program

seems to be due to the fact that a sufferer
who had find the right way to live
have a an exceptional faculty for "reaching" and helping
a sick uncontrolled person.

In simplest form, the Experiment of Life program

operates when the recovered sufferers
passes along the story of their own illness problem,
describes the sobriety they have found
in the Experiment of Life
and invites the newcomer to join us as informal fellowship.

As a personal experience in the recovery program

of Alcoholics Anonymous
and to open the integration opportunity to the same program,
in a different joining portal
with the reality of personal incapacity
to fit a balanced healthy life
it is suggested the following preamble for such a group.

The Experiment of Life is a fellowship of men and women

who share their experience, strength, and hope
to recover physical, mental and spiritual health
and help others to reach it.
Any person can be member of The Experiment of Life
no matter age, sex, political party, religion preference,
trade or profession; the only requirement is to be honest
to accept your personal history and overcome fear from
the change that must have,
to achieve our aim.
The Experiment of Life puts his confidence
in a Superior Power who help us
to find the right way through the world,
to recover our biological sensibility.
There are no dues
for members of The Experiment of Life ;
we are self-supporting through our own contributions
according to our activities costs causes.
The Experiment of Life is not allied with any sect,
denomination, political party, organization or institution;
does not wish to engage in controversy;
neither endorses or opposes any causes.
Our primordial purpose is to reach full healthy condition
and help other sufferers to achieve it.

The Twelve Steps of the Experiment of Life.

1. We admit to be powerless to confront our lives alone and
that we have to redefine our position before it.
2. Came to experiment the force of a Power, greater than
ourselves that manifests in our surroundings, to guard us,
guide and correct us at every moment to restore us into a
healthy judgment.
3. We take the decision to turn our life and wills over to the
care of that Superior Power as we conceive it.
4. Made a searching fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
5. We admitted before our Superior Power, to ourselves and
to another human being the exact nature of our sufferings.
6. We are entirely ready to let our Superior Power remove us
all these defects of character.
7. Humbly accept our Superior Power gifts and learn to
distinguish our authentic convenience.
8. We make a list of all debts and offenses we made to other
persons, and became willing to make amends to them all.
9. We confirm directly the effects of our past actions and
amends until wherever is possible to such people, except
when to do so would injure them or others.
10. We continue making our daily personal moral inventory
and when we have a mistake, admit it immediately and correct
it.
11. Through prayer and meditation, good will shared work and
mutual help improve a new relationship with the world, our
neighbors and our Superior Power as we understand It,
praying for knowledge of His Will for us and the power to carry
out it.
12. Having obtained clarity over the purpose of our Lives as
the result of these steps, we practice these principles in all our
affairs and tried to carry this message to all whom still
suffering.

The Twelve Traditions of the Experiment of Life.

1. Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery
depends upon union of the Experiment of Life.
2. To our group purpose there is but one ultimate authority; a
loving Almighty Everlasting Father, as He may express
Himself in our group conscience. Our leaders are but trusted
servants; they do not govern.
3. The only requirement for membership of the Experiment of
Life is the desire to stop suffering any kind of illness.
4. Each group should be autonomous except in matters
affecting other groups or to the Experiment of Life as a
whole; its permanence depends on its authenticity before the
evolutionary principles of Life.
5. Each group has but one primary purpose; carry the
message to those who still suffering.
6. A group of the Experiment of Life ought never endorse,
finance, or lend our Society name to any related facility or
outside enterprise, lest problems of money, property, and
prestige divert us from our primary purpose.
7. Every group of the Experiment of Life ought to be fully
self-supporting, declining outside contributions.
8. The Experiment of Life should remain forever
nonprofessional, but our service centers may employ special
workers.
9. The Experiment of Life, as such, ought never be
organized; but we may create service boards or committees
directly responsible to those they serve.
10. The Experiment of Life has no opinion on outside issues;
hence that the name of our Society ought never be drawn
into public controversy.
11. Our public relations policy is based in attraction rather
than promotion; we need always maintain impersonal
character at the level of press, radio, and films.

12. Impersonality is the spiritual foundation of all our

Traditions, ever reminding us to place principles before
personalities.
