Because Local Rule 7(K)(1) provides pro se parties with twenty days, rather than the customary
eleven days, to file a response to a motion, Defendants have noticed their motion for hearing on
Friday, July 27, 2007 so as to accommodate the pro se schedule and allow the Court the benefit
of full briefing, including a Reply. If, however, the Court would prefer to operate under the strict
schedule outlined by Local Rule 7(E), which does not contemplate the additional time given to
pro se parties under Local Rule 7(K)(1), Defendants can re-notice the hearing for Friday, July
20, 2007.
