General Terms and Conditions for Annual Maintenance contract.

Scheduled maintenance visits.


1.1. SSI shall prepare a Service Schedule and Check Sheet detailing therein the necessary
periodic inspections and servicing of the equipment prior to the commencement date of
the AMC.
1.2. SSI Service Engineer shall make 12 scheduled visits for your Concrete pump, in a year
in the frequency of 1 scheduled visit per month for the period of contract. Apart from
these 12 scheduled visits, 6 extra visits in case of any emergency or breakdown shall be
made if need arises and this will be at no extra charge.
1.3. Any more visits, apart from the above, will be on chargeable basis @ Rs.5000/- per visit
+ taxes.
1.4. SSI shall carry out the maintenance of the equipment as per program mentioned
above and shall ensure that all the activities listed in the Service Schedule and Check
Sheet are performed on schedule dates mentioned in the program as well as the check
list referred to above.
1.5. SSI and the Employer shall maintain the dates mutually agreed for the routine &
preventive maintenance services of the equipment.
1.6. The routine and preventive maintenance, monitoring and servicing of equipment shall
include, service, minor repairs, replacement of parts, components or sub-assembly,
inspections and condition appraisal. Major repairs or dismantling, re-commissioning and
shifting of the machine or part of it are excluded from this contract.
1.7. Maintenance of Engine/ Prime mover will not be covered under this contract. In case of
failure, Employerer has to arrange for repair/ replacement of the same.
1.8. SSI shall provide report against routine and preventive maintenance together with
monitoring and servicing carried out on the equipment
1.9. The Employer shall inform SSI about any problem noticed by it during the operation/
inspection of the equipment immediately.
1.10. The Employer shall maintain logbook for the above purpose. Format of Daily Log Sheet
shall be provided by SSI.
Unscheduled maintenance
1.11. If at any time the operator notices any operational problem of equipment, the same shall
be reported to the SSI representative and the customer if need arises, shall stop

operating the equipment till the defect is rectified.


SSIs Responsibility
1.12. SSI shall deploy the service person to oversee the maintenance of the equipment
1.13. SSI to use complete & effective check sheet and other report to ensure proper
maintenance.
1.14. Whenever a machine will be attended for a particular job, SSIs representative will raise
necessary Service Report and the same has to be duly signed by the customers
representative.
1.15. Calibration certificate will be provided Quarterly one time. However customer has to
provide the Necessary Standard weight for calibration.
Employers Responsibility
1.16. The Employer shall use and provide clean fuel, lubricant, lubricating oils, as per
specifications furnished by SSI.
1.17. The Employer shall make equipment available as per advance schedule for routine
maintenance, periodic maintenance and repairs.
1.18. The Employer shall provide necessary manpower, tools and tackles to SSI Engineers to
carry out preventive maintenance and repairs.
1.19. The Employer shall employ well trained operators. SSI Engineer shall provide basic
training to operators to enhance their skill levels. The Employer may choose to enroll the
operator in SSI in house training school at the normal fee applicable to all.
1.20. The Employer shall take corrective action on SSIs suggestion if an employee is found
not performing the job required to maintain health and safety of the equipment.
1.21. The Employer shall purchase ALL NECESSARY WEAR PARTS & SERVICE FROM SSI
for SCHWING Stetter Equipment, unless otherwise excluded from SSIs scope.
1.22. Purchase of spurious parts by the customer will exclude SSI from its obligations under
the contract
1.23. Necessary Standard weight to be provided for calibration.
1.24. These Service charges are for the equipments working in and within a radius of 50 km
from Bangalore only. If the equipment is shifted to sites other the above
locations to and fro travel expenses and stay expenses will have to be paid at actual by
the Employer.
