Placements
Clinical Allocations is responsible for arranging
placements that give you the opportunity to put
theory into practice. This leaflet aims to provide you
with basic information regarding placements.

Regardless of where you live, you will be

required on occasions to travel to placements
anywhere in Northern Ireland.
For some placements you will be allocated close
to or within travelling distance of your term time or
home address. On occasions, it may be necessary to
stay in accommodation. It is your responsibility to
make the appropriate travelling or accommodation
arrangements.

Arranging Clinical Placements

The particular requirements of your branch will
determine which placements you go on, and when.
They can be in a number of different settings, which
