A Great Heritage
The iconic London Hippodrome has always been at the centre of Londons nightlife. It first opened its doors
in January 1900, with a circus and variety show which included a young man named Charlie Chaplin!
In 1957 The Hippodrome was transformed into Talk of the Town which played host to many stars including
Cliff Richard, Judy Garland, Stevie Wonder, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones and Sammy Davis Jr.
After various different incarnations, including a nightclub under the management of Peter Stringfellow,
in 2008 the venue returned to its roots as a circus venue for burlesque cabaret La Clique.
Since, current owners Simon and Jimmy Thomas started work towards re-launching
The Hippodrome as Londons first international style casino by renovating and
restoring many of the original theatres features.
It now, once again, offers a unique experience.

With a range of exciting and unique spaces available for exclusive
or semi-exclusive hire, 24 hours a day, The Hippodrome is a truly
unique venue for events. Whatever the occasion, whether youre
looking for private dining for 12 or canaps and cocktails for 800,
we have the perfect space to deliver an exceptional experience
time and time again.
The Hippodrome understands exactly what it takes to make your
event a success. Our friendly and welcoming team of experts is led
by an owner who cares and, as a family business, we are obsessed
with the finer details that create an exceptional experience.

Private Dining & Part y Rooms

The Hippodrome has four glamorous dining rooms
which can seat up to 55 for an intimate private
dinner party or boardroom style meeting and up
to 75 for cocktail and canaps.
You can add to your experience by booking an
exclusive gaming session or tutorial before or after
your function, or enjoying a performance in the
Matcham Room as part of a theatre package.

Heliot Lounge
Next to the bar and perfect for birthday parties,
anniversaries or after dinner cocktails, Heliot
Lounge can accommodate up to 100 people.
With a selection of delicious canaps and a
bowl food menu, we have a package to suit
everyones needs.
Tables and areas within the Bar and Lounge
can also be reserved for after work or
pre-dinner drinks.

With an extensive cocktail menu and space for up
to 70 guests, Heliot bar is right in the middle of
all The Hippodromes excitement.

Heliot Restaurant
The restaurant is set in the original grand circle
overlooking the main gaming floor and offers
spectacular views. Heliot is a restaurant with
ambience and atmosphere and you cant fail to
notice its energy and glamour.
The classic British menu includes some very
interesting twists and with three tiers to choose
from, the restaurant is available for exclusive or
semi-exclusive hire.

A Flexible Events Space

With a retractable stage, balcony, state of the art
lighting and sound plus multi-format screens,
The Matcham Room can be made available in a
variety of formats and can be hired exclusively
or as part of a Hippodrome package.
It can be booked along with the restaurant,
bar and lounge to cater for parties for up
to 800 people.

Third Floor
Our third floor bar opens up onto what is probably
the only two tier outdoor terrace in central London.
Enjoy fantastic cocktails, a range of cigars from
our humidor and fantastic food in your own
private oasis.

Top Deck
Not for the faint hearted but gives the best views
in the house.
Overlooking the buzzing gaming floor and with
room for 90 guests - our Top Deck will give your
party or meeting that wow effect.
