Local Farms Battle Mother Nature

marketnotes
Produce Market Report July 28, 2015

GOOD BUYS FOR THE WEEK

Limes: Pricing on limes

Peaches: The best

peaches of the season
are coming out of
California with great
prices and quality

Strawberries: Plenty of
strawberries are coming
from California and they
are looking beautiful.
Unfortunately, the
strawberries are still too
small for stem
strawberries.

Mangos: Gorgeous
mangoes are coming
from Mexico at great
prices. Get them while
you can!.

We have an intense interest in our local farmers at this

time of year, and right now know that they are dealing
with extreme weather. With large amounts of rain and
insane heat, quality and production have decreased.
Quality control is working overtime on both sides to bring
you the best they have to offer.

Peaches

continue to be great. They

are a great alternative to
the currently pricey lemons.
