Hi, I'm Kety. I'm 28 and I live in Castiglion Fiorentino, a nice village near Arezzo.
I work at the pound.
I get up at 6.30am and I leave home at 7.00. I never have breakfast. I drive to
work and I arrive at the pound in Arezzo at about 7.50. Once there, I have a cup
of coffee with the other two men working at the pound, Stefano and Giacomo.
There is a big kitchen upstairs where we can cook our own meals. First I have
to feed the dogs. There are about 260 at the moment so it takes quite a long
time. Then, together with Stefano and Giacomo, I clean the boxes where dogs
are kept. From 1.00 and 3.00pm we have a break and we have lunch. After
lunch I do my homework. At 5.30pm I finish work and I drive to school. Luckily
the school is not far from the pound and it takes few minutes to get there. I go to
school because I want to get a Diploma. I don't want to work at the pound
forever. I love animals and dogs in particular but it's a very hard work especially
in winter when it's very cold and I have to stay outside all day long.
I would like to become a nurse so I have to study hard because it's very difficult
to pass the exam to go to university.
I get back home at 11.20pm and I go to bed because I'm really tired.
At the weekend I go shopping and meet my friends. On Saturday night I go to
the disco because I love dancing.
