The QTP-A tripod is designed for mounting low & medium weight antennas in EMC and
RF/Microwave test environments. The tripod is made of specially selected ash wood
which ensures that reflections are minimised when making antenna measurements. It
also features a single leg extension, reducing weight and boosting portability.
An included wooden tray fits between the tripod legs to house small items, and improve
tripod stability.

Our wooden tripods are of the highest quality and will last for many years with only a
little occasional care and attention. The tripod has adjustable feet to allow for use on un-
even ground. It also offers the ability to set the tripod legs to any required angle.

Features

The tripod mounting head has a standard 3/8"

camera fixing stud into our special mounting bracket
allowing the QTP-A to be used with most of our
popular antennas. This allows free 360° adjustment
in the horizontal plane, and fixed 90° step adjustment
in the vertical plane. The tripod head features an
easy-to-read 360° scale.

A two part tripod leg design is used, minimising

weight.

Standard and custom mounting brackets for

mounting horns or reflectors are available.
