Most of us go through life pretending that we dont have any special dreams,
ambitions and desire when deep down inside we really want more. We block
ourselves and we use words almost like we are in a trance. Like we are sleep
walking through life that we find ways to cancel out our dreams.
There are a lot tings we want to do and a lot of places we would like to go, a lot
things we would like to experience and we just stop at but. But will cause you a
hide out behind fear but will cause you to come out with a lot of excuses that you
can validate your inaction and not acting on your dream. But is a dream killer. But
most people, you know what they do? Those people goes through life quietly and
safely, tip toeing to their early grave. People spend 20-odd years learning and
spend their remainder of their life being trapped by housing loans, car loans,
insurance, childrens education and finally to pay their sickbed and to buy their own
grave! How pathetic is that?
We have been holding back, we have ideas we dont act on, dreams we want to do.
We are afraid to take chances. Dont allow but to keep you in the corner. There
are a lot of people who say but I tried once or twice and it didnt work out. So they
use that as an excuse not to ever come out again. Even if things dont work out and
even if I experience failure, that does not make me a failure. There is a different
between failing and being a failure. If things dont work out and you dont produce
the results, thats all but dont confuse who you are with the results that you
produce. Do what you can where you are what you have and never be satisfied. Mr.
Lee Kuan Yew tried to create a Malaysian Malaysia many times but it did not work.
He didnt give up but strive to build an ideal Singaporean Singapore, a multiracial
cosmopolitan. Jack Ma, one of the richest men in China failed his first 4 years of
business. Its as if we consistently scoring less than 2.0 in our exam. Did he give up?
No! Today, he is the richest man in China. He owns Alibaba, one of the most
successful companies in the world. They did not give up during hard times and you
should not too!
Dont get satisfied with yourself. Always know that whenever you are you can enjoy
more that you deserve more! Why dont you decide now that you expand your world
and that if other people can learn you can learn too? If you are pursuing your
dream, surely there will be time when you want to give up, surely there will be time
when life knock you down and catch you on the blind side but the challenge is to
hold on. That if you hold on tenaciously. I say that universe is on your side.
See if you dont decide to act on your dream. If you dont make a decision to live
your life, if you dont decide to step into your fear, if you dont decide to say yes to
your life, it will never work for you, because you have got to live. Life is just too
short and unpredictable. We always say there are always tomorrow? Oh no, can you
guarantee you will show up tomorrow? If you die this very moment, what will die
from you? What dreams? What ideas? What talents? What leadership potential?
What greatness that you show up to grave? And you allow fear and procrastination

to hold you back. Only to realize that you never live! Only to realize you have never
scrapped the surface of your potential. When you say it is not worth it, yes, it is
going to be right there for you, it will be on your face. Telling you go back till you
want to do something with your life.
If thought about wanting to do something, take your head on, find your strength,
summon up your courage, life will never be the same again, chase your dream!
