Information Disposal
The internet (Google Group and Facebook) will be the sole means of
communication between the student placement coordinators and the
students. No SPC is responsible for any students lack of awareness
regarding schedule of company visits and the rules and regulations
pertaining, to each organization vising MNIT for placement.

Registration Process
1. Registration is mandatory, with clearly defined undertaking to acceptance of
campus recruitment policy.
2. Registration is to be done for every company specifically, and each individual
is responsible for their own registration.
3. No one can sign for or register any other person with/without the individual's
consent.
4. A resume, as per the official MNIT form, must be maintained and regularly
updated by all student. Resume along with any specifically mentioned
documents, shall be required at the time of registration.
5. All particulars on the resume as well the Registration Form (provided by the
respective SPCs) filled by the students must contain true information. Any
mistakes/irregularities might result in the debarring of the student from the
campus recruitment process.
6. Any student who so ever registers for a company shall mandatorily attend
the Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) by the company and in proper uniform.
7. All students should be disciplined while attending the recruitment process.
Offenders will be strictly penalized.

Students Responsibility:
1. Student must check the updates regularly on their mail id/branch group.
2. Students must carry their identity cards all the time with them during
the PPT/written test/group discussion/interviews, and produce the same
whenever demanded by the recruiting team, the placement officer or
the student coordinators.
3. Students are expected to be in time as per the announcements.

4. Students must carry all the original documents and two sets of
photocopies along with them.

DRESS CODE:
A dress code of black formal pants and white shirt is mandatory and only
those in the
specified attire will be allowed to sit
for placements.

Penalty Code:
A. Not appearing for a companys PPT/coming late for PPT for which the
student registered
i. A maximum of 3 warnings will put you out of the
placement process.
ii.
1st warning: Debarring from the placement process of the
company as well as next 2 branch companies
iii.
2nd warning: Prohibited to sit for the next 5 branch companies as
well the current company
iv.
3rd warning: Debarred from campus placement process for rest of
the placement session
B. Opting out in the middle of the recruitment process of a company (i.e.
not appearing for next round after clearing a previous round)
i. 1nd warning: Prohibited to sit for the next 5 branch companies
ii.
2nd and last warning: Debarred from campus placement process
for rest of the placement session.
C. Deliberately breaking the rules and regulations/showing indiscipline or
in appropriate behavior :
i. No warning. Debarred from campus placement process for rest
of the placement session
D. Use of illegal means during companys online/written exam/providing
incorrect information.
i. No warning at all. Debarred from campus placement process for
rest of the placement session.
E. Any complaint from the HR of any company regarding interviews of the
students/individuals would lead to the debarring from the entire
placement session.

Campus Placement Policy (One person one job)

1. The previous concept of DREAM/ NON DREAM/ SUPER DREAM has been
scratched.
2. Each student is allowed only one placement, whatever may be the profile of
the company.
3. A student will be considered as placed only once the final results are
declared by the company.
4. A student kept in the wait list by a company will not be considered as placed.
5. If student gets multiple offers in the end of a day, she/he will be free to
choose any one between them.
I hereby give the undertaking that, I shall not be involved in activities
like beating or causing damage to property post placement celebration
by student . I give authority to placement cell to debar me from further
placement process or cancel my placement offer whatever the case
may be.
