Love to act? Want to have loads of fun with your friends? Then you should audition for the spring play! We are having a
workshop on August 13, Thursday, in the AMS theater. Its starts at 3:15, and ends at 4:30. Although this meeting is not
mandatory, you will have loads of fun, get awesome tips about how to be a better actor, and get important information about
the play and auditions. So please, come and join us!

Calling all actors and actresses! Auditions for the AIM play will be held August 24th and August 25th from 3:15-5:30 PM in the
theater. Make sure you pick up your audition sheet and packet from Ms. Clapp in room 44 (AM) or room 53 (PM). You can turn
in your forms and secure an audition time starting Monday, August 17th .

Attention all Yellow Jacket artists! If you are interested in having your art work displayed in the Brentwood Art, Wine, and Jazz
Festival at the Street of Brentwood the weekend of August 29 & 30th, please fill out an entry form and turn in your art work to
Mrs. Thornhill in room 2 or 3 by August 14th. Entry forms are available in the student office. (8/3-8/14)
Friday is Black and Gold Spirit day! Wear your class shirt or any black and yellow! Dont have a class shirt? They are $15. We still
have some available from walk thru in room 3 or you can order one! Order forms are available in the student office. Dont wait,

Hey Yellow Jackets, on Wednesdays we Walk to School! Our first official Walk to School Wednesday will be August 12th before
school. ASB students will be stationed at the pick-up loop for you to sign in. If you walk, ride your bike, scooter, or skate to
school you could win a gift card to Willys! Plus, Willys has new shirts and if you buy a bagel and smoothie, you get your shirt
for free! If you participate in both Walk to School Wednesdays, you will be invited to the Menchies party at the end of the

school in the student office window August 3-7. You can wear your shirts on Wednesdays for spirit days! (July 31-Aug 7)
Adams Middle School teachers are excited to present five enrichment classes for the fall quarter to our students Strategic
Games in room 36 and DIY Pinterest Projects in room 23 on Tuesdays after school (please bring a plain white, yellow or black tshirt to the first Pinterest class), Beginning Drama in room 48 and Gardening in room 24 on Thursdays after school. B-Lunchers
can also join the School of Rock - beginning guitar (bring your guitar) in room 5 on Wednesdays during lunch B.
All AMS families and friends are invited for an evening of baseball and fun! Purchase tickets to the A's vs. Mariners game on
Friday, September 4th @7:05pm! Ticket order forms are due by August 21st! Limited seats are available so be sure to order
