This reference letter is provided at the written request of Ms. Joelle Dyan Soriano,
who has asked me to serve as a reference on her behalf. I recommend Joelle to your
institution for the position of staff nurse.
I have known Joelle for the past 3 years as she has taken the Bachelor of Science in
Nursing in Colegio de Sta. Lourdes of Leyte Foundation, Inc. or more commonly
known as CSLLFI. As her professor, I have had an opportunity to observe her
participation and interaction in class and to evaluate her knowledge of the subject
matter. She has proven that through hard work, follow though, and team work, she
can accomplish tasks in a courteous and timely manner.
Through all those years she has been under my supervision, Joelle would look like
your average student. But as I had followed through her work, she dedicates her
time in exemplary activities such as volunteering in the aftermath of the super
typhoon Yolanda through the Philippine Red Cross and in creating an environment in
the clinics befitted for raising the self-esteem of our patients. She works hard on
what is tasked to her and makes sure that it is done in the best quality she can
muster. Her work ethics is one of her strong suit, too. As we have trained all nursing
students in our college, I speak in behalf of my fellow clinical instructors, she has
performed in the clinics with the least amount of supervision from us and her
initiative in emergency situations gives us a confidence in her that is tantamount to
a senior to her junior.
Joelle is well-equipped to grow from challenges that she is presented with. Her
creativity, compassion and advocacy prepares her beautifully for your institution. I
