Please stand to say the pledge of Allegiance with your class
Calling all actors and actresses! Auditions for the AIM play will be held August 24th and August 25th from
3:15-5:30 PM in the theater. Make sure you pick up your audition sheet and packet from Ms. Clapp in
room 44 (AM) or room 53 (PM). You can turn in your forms and secure an audition time starting Monday,
August 17th . (8/17)
Attention all Yellow Jacket artists! If you are interested in having your art work displayed in the
Brentwood Art, Wine, and Jazz Festival at the Street of Brentwood the weekend of August 29 & 30th,
please fill out an entry form and turn in your art work to Mrs. Thornhill in room 2 or 3 by August 14th. Entry
forms are available in the student office. (8/14)
Thanks for going green Yellow Jackets! We saw so many of you walk to school on Wednesday! The winners of
our Willys gift card raffle are: Allan T in 6th grade, Micayla B in 7th grade, and Jose C in 8th grade. Come to the
student office to get your Willys gift card. Well see you at out next Walk to School Wednesday on August
26th. And, well have a special prize for the first 75 walkers! Dont miss out! (8/15)
Adams Middle School teachers are excited to present five enrichment classes for the fall quarter to our
students Strategic Games in room 36 and DIY Pinterest Projects in room 23 on Tuesdays after school
(please bring a plain white, yellow or black t-shirt to the first Pinterest class), Beginning Drama in room 48
and Gardening in room 24 on Thursdays after school. B-Lunchers can also join the School of Rock beginning guitar (bring your guitar) in room 5 on Wednesdays during lunch B.
All AMS families and friends are invited for an evening of baseball and fun! Purchase tickets to the A's vs.
Mariners game on Friday, September 4th @7:05pm! Ticket order forms are due by August 21st! Limited
seats are available so be sure to order your tickets soon! Don't miss out!!!

Do your friends and family think you are witty and punny? Can you think quickly on your feet? Then you
might be a great addition to our Improv Team! Come to an Improv Workshop and learn from fabulously
funny Liberty and Heritage High School Alumni! The workshop is today, Tuesday, August 11 from 3:00-5:00
pm in the Theater. Auditions will be held next Tuesday, August 18th from 3:30-5 pm. Be sure to pick up an
audition application at the workshop or from Mrs. Kennealy in Room 47. Quarter One Improv Team
Audition applications are due to Mrs. Kennealy no later than Monday, August 17th.
On August 20, 2015 Barnes and Noble at Slatten Ranch will be hosting the 12th annual book fair to benefit
YOUR School library! Shop from 9 AM-9 PM in the store or go online till August 25th and use fair # 11649431
A percentage of each sale will benefit Adams Middle School library!! Hear our Adams Choir perform at 5:20
PM in the music section of the store.
