Jennylyn Mercado wants questions about Patrick Garcia to stop

By: Noel Orsal & Bong Godinez

Actress-singer Jennylyn Mercado says she's

willing to work with ex-boyfriend Patrick
Garcia but that doesn't mean she'll grant him
easy access to their son Alex Jazz.

Jennylyn Mercado is now comfortable bringing

son Alex Jazz with her in showbiz-related
functions.

Last February 24, Jennylyn arrived together

with her son at Annabel's restaurant on Tomas
Morato, Quezon City for her and Valerie
Concepcion's launching as the newest endorsers
of Belo Medical Group.

Alex Jazz, or AJ, is Jennylyn's son with ex-boyfriend Patrick Garcia. The relationship between
the two former lovers continues to be strained, with the StarStruck alumna accusing Patrick of
abandoning her during the time she was heavily pregnant.

Jennylyn now insists that she has already moved on, though she remains cold every time she's
asked on the possibility of patching things up with Patrick for the benefit of their son.

"Kasi kumbaga, di ba, ang tagal na nun? Naka-move on na rin ako...ayoko na ng mga negative
vibes and issues," she said.

SEXY BUT SINGLE. Jennylyn's sexy figure belies the fact that she's already a mother to a cute
little boy. But the star of Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak remains evasive when it comes to her lovelife.

There's nothing to talk about, said Jennylyn, since she's not interested in another relationship
after Patrick, and the nagging issue linking her to MYX VJ Andrei Felix is not true. Jennylyn
also dismissed past talks that she and another ex-boyfriend, Mark Herras, have reconciled.

"Hindi ko na din sila [admirers] napapansin dahil sa lahat ng ginagawa ko," said Jennylyn. "I
can say that I'm happy now with my family, sa son ko and with my career. Wala na akong
hahanapin pa at sana tuloy-tuloy na."
STILL WITH BECKY. Jennylyn expressed satisfaction with the way her co-management deal
with Viva Artist Agency has been working out so far.

Despite Viva's entry, Jennylyn and Valerie Concepcion are still under their longtime manager,
Becky Aguila. Becky's other ward, Angel Locsin, however, severed ties with her to join veteran
entertainment columnist Ethel Ramos, who also handles the career of premiere actor Aga
Muhlach.

In a text message sent to PEP last February 11, Becky revealed that personal and professional
differences with Angel prompted both parties to terminate the partnership.

"Marami na kaming di napagkakasunduan. May sarili na ideas at konsepto si Angel na

naiintindihan ko naman because she's young... Life goes on," Becky relayed through text.

Jennylyn admitted that her professional relationship with Becky is also far from being perfect.
But she said they always manage to patch things up before an issue goes out of hand.

"Hindi namin pinag-uusapan and ayoko din mag-comment kasi wala talaga akong alam,"
answered Jen, pertaining to Angel and Becky's split. "Case-to-case basis naman 'yan. Kung sa
aming dalawa ni Tita Becky may problema kami, kaming dalawa na lang ang nag-uusap, hindi
na nakakalabas."
