Position Title: Commercial Construction Foreman Indianapolis, IN

The Position:
Becker Landscape is growing and were looking for a Foreman to join our Commercial
Landscape Construction department. Under the direction of the supervisor, the foreman will help
oversee the installation the companys commercial landscape and construction projects.
Duties:
-Work under the supervisor to oversee the production and guidance of multiple crew members
-Oversee jobs from start to finish
-Review daily progress and needs of the next day with the supervisor
-Ability to plan ahead when the supervisor is not available
-Ensure proper use and safe keeping of company resources and equipment
-Instruct, evaluate, and train employees to perform landscape construction installation and
adhere to company policies and safety practices
-Ensure that work is done in a safe and efficient manner and maintain excellent quality
-Lead by example, encourage teamwork, and promote the Becker philosophy
Education, Experience, & Skills
Required:
-Have 2 years of practical landscape installation experience in the field
-Show working knowledge of landscape installation methods and techniques
-Good understanding of the equipment, tools and labor needed to accomplish work
-Have leadership skills and previous supervisory experience
-Able to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications
-Must qualify for the MICCS program, which includes submitting to pre-employment, random,
and post accident drug testing
-Hold a valid Drivers License and willing to obtain a CDL
-Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
Preferred:
-2 or 4 year degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management or
related field
-10 hour OSHA training
-Bilingual (Spanish)

the maintenance the companys commercial/residential landscape properties.
Duties:
-Work under the supervisor to oversee the production and guidance of multiple crew members
-Oversee jobs from start to finish
-Review daily progress and needs of the next day with the supervisor
-Ability to plan ahead and problem solve issues when the supervisor is not available
-Ensure proper use and safe keeping of company resources and equipment
-Instruct, evaluate, and train employees to perform landscape maintenance and pruning
methods and adhere to company policies and safety practices
-Perform enhancement work and detail work as required, and train crew members on these
techniques.
-Ensure that work is done in a safe and efficient manner and maintain excellent quality
-Lead by example, encourage teamwork, and promote the Becker philosophy
Education, Experience, & Skills
Required:

-Have an eye for detail
-Have working knowledge of landscape maintenance and pruning methods and techniques
