Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are conferred in respect of work that results from
the creative and inventive activity of the human mind. The protection of intellectual
property plays a key role in gaining an achieving technological, industrial and
economic growth of a country. Intellectual Property Rights include the patent,
copyright and related designs of integrated circuits and protection of know-how and
undisclosed information. Patents are legal protection for new inventions

Do not publish/present/display your invention before filing patent application
Maintain records of your research methodically
Conduct patent search before filling patent application to judge the
patentability especially to establish novelty.

File patent application as early as possible. You may even file application with
provisional specifications.
