Learn how to Permission Ad Hoc Reports.

Ad Hoc Report Permissions: Permissions

As an administrator, you can grant certain groups
of users permission to access Ad Hoc Reports as
report creators and/or report viewers. Ad Hoc Report
permissions may also be granted by type of report.
Admin Tools > Set User Permissions > Dashboard
/ List View / Spotlight View / Report Access

1 Create Report Permission

Report creators create, view, modify, delete, and

share reports across the organization. If a user has
permission to create, they are automatically able to
view/run reports that they create.

2 Run Report Permission

Report viewers run reports that have been shared and

export shared report data that has been tailored for
your line of sight. Viewers cannot edit, share, or delete
reports.

3 Ad Hoc Report Data Access

In addition to allowing user access to create and run

reports, you may also administratively control whose
data a user may see. There are several lines of sight
which are available in the system. Most of these are
based on the reporting relationships established in the
User Data File.
