B2B Delivery Instructions in Latvia
Goods ordered before 17:00 and marked [Delivery by courier] or [Fast delivery] will be delivered the
next day until 16:00. Delivery cost is calculated using “Delivery next day”: “Riga / Latvia”
columns.
- For Prepaid parcels payment settlement must be finished on same day till 16:30.
Goods ordered before 17:00 Friday and marked [Deliver on Saturday] will be delivered on Saturday
in Riga/Latvia. Delivery cost is calculated using “Delivery on Saturday”: “Riga”/”Latvia” columns.
Saturday deliver is available only in - Riga, Daugavpils, Liepaja, Jelgava, Talsi, Saldus, Ventspils,
Jekabpils, Rezekne, Valmiera, Cesis .
- For Prepaid parcels payment settlement must be finished on same day till 16:30.
Goods marked with [Wait for 3 days] will be reserved for 3 working days, if it wasn’t agreed with
manager otherwise. After 3 working days reservation will be canceled without warning. If you want
the goods to be shipped, please change the type of delivery in the delivery system or contact Your
manager.
Amount for delivery service will be included in commercial invoice as separate line.
COD (CASH ON DELIVERY) SERVICE
- Available COD „Cash On Delivery“ service, when consignee pays in cash to the courier on
parcel delivery time;
- If You want to activate/use this type of service, You need firstly to contact Your related sales
manager;
- Service fee – 2,05 LVL + VAT (calculated by each parcel separately);
- Cash amount limit per parcel – up to 1000,00 LVL (including VAT)
Important – service is unaveilable for Clients who has overdue payments!
1. COUNT BOXES
Number of delivered packages (boxes) must match one shown on the on the screen of DPD
courier’s portable scanner (see fig. below). If number of delivered of packages (boxes) does not
match one showed on the scanner, then it is necessary to correct the number of boxes.
2. CHECK LABELS
There must be your address on the DPD packages’ (boxes’) label, and the number of boxes must
match the number of packages shown on the scanner. If the number of delivered packages (boxes)
differ from the number of boxes shown on the scanner - then it is necessary to check the number of
boxes.
Information about the wrongly delivered packages (boxes), if they were delivered by DPD must be
submitted to info@dpd.lv and/or logistika@acme.lt by email or by phone +370 5 2106777.
The information must include DPD package number.
If upon delivery of the parcel physical “carriage out” operation was carried out, a courier marks it
on the scanner by "Loading works carried out" (see fig. below). Loading works are confirmed by
the recipient's signature next to list of accepted parcels. At a beginning of each month Courier
Company is sending report of carried out loading operations for last month and charges the sender.
If signature of consignee confirming KD (Loading works) is found in DPD system the cost of works
will be transferred to consignees invoice.
Remarks:
- Carry - transfer packages from/to the specified loading location.
- Unloading - unloading packages from the vehicle next to it.
- Loading - loading packages to vehicle when they are next to it.
The recipient will see such information about services on the screen of the scanner:
