Our Mission: To equip widows and orphans for a productive life, offering hope to the
hopeless through the love of Jesus Christ.
Wiphan provides skills training in computer keyboarding, jewelry crafting, and
hospitality to the widows living in the compounds (slums) of Ndola, Zambia. For
each woman who earns a living with a respectable skill, there are estimated to be
an additional 6 people in her household who benefit from her income.
Wiphan provides an education for 900 orphans and vulnerable children. Wiphan
also provides each child a school lunch and basic medical care in our three
primary schools.
Financial Goal: $30,000 to provide for the needs of 900 orphans including medical care,
5 school lunches a week, and an education.
Details: The race is held at Fellowship Bible Church. All race participants receive a
sponsor information and goodies bag. Sponsors are entitled to their logo on the back of
the race t-shirt, acknowledgment in all Warthog Waddle advertising, and the opportunity
to promote their business with a booth in the race day exhibition.
