Activity two: Newsflash-Disasters

1. The Capri strip, a part of Namibia which borders on Botswana, Zambia


and Zimbabwe.

2. There have been a number of disasters that have left people homeless
and destroyed crops.

3. They are unable to get the food.

4. Flooding. Locust and livestock diseases, late rains and drought.

Aids orphans, the spread of aids, and traditional family system under
pressure, hunger, homelessness anthrax and locust.

5. WFP-World Food Programme. And Orphans and Venerable Children.

6. WFP only sponsors food for orphans.
