THE EFFECT OF INSTRUCTIONAL COOPERATIVE MODEL

AND THE INTERPERSPNAL INTELLIGENCE TOWARD THE SENIOR


HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CHEMISTRY LEARNING ACHIVEMENT
(Experimental Study in Public Senior High school 1 Bogor, west Java)

The main puspose of this research is to see the effects of instructional
cooperative model, interpersonal intelligence toward students chemistry learning
achievement. This experimental study uses 2 x 2 factorial designs. The sample is
60 students selected with random sampling. Measurement of variables use written
test (in the form of multiple choice) for chemistry ability, and the test of interpersonal
intelligence uses written test. Data analysis of this study uses Anova.
The results of the research are : (1) the learning achievement of the students
using TPS (Think Pair Share) is higher than those using TAI (Team Assisted
Individualization); (2) there is interaction among instruction model, interpersonal
intelligence and learning achievement; (3) the learning achievement of students
with high interpersonal intelligence is higher when they use TPS (Think Pair Share)
than when they use TAI (Team Assisted Individualization); (4) the learning
achievement of students with low interpersonal intelligence is higher when they use
TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) than when they use TPS (Think Pair Share).

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to study the relationship between learning
autonomy and class management with student achievement in the form of
word/sentence structure of Arab Language.
The research was conducted at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pembangunan
UIN Jakarta with survey method. Total sample involved of data analysis are
descriptive and inferential analysis. Inferential analysis consist with correlation and
regression.
The result of this research shows: (1) learning autonomy have positive
relationship with student achievement in the form of words/sentence structure of
Arab Language; (2) class management have positive relationship with student
achievement in the form of word/sentence structure of Arab Language, and (3)
learning autonomy and class management simultaneously have positive
relationship with student achievement in the form of word/sentence structure of
Arab Language.

Therefore the student achievement could be improved by enhancing learning


autonomy and class management.

The Relationship Between Critical Thinking and Interest in Reading
Toward the Speed Reading Ability of Junior School Students
at Cempaka Putih Regency Center of Jakarta

ABSTRACT
This research aim to determine the relationship between critical thinking and
interest in reading toward the student ability of student to speed reading both
separately and simultaneously. This research was conducted in Jakarta, 2010. The
population is 2nd grade of Junior High School, with 40 respondents as research
sample, which were selected by multi-stage random sampling. The research
method is descriptive by correlation technique.
The finding are follows; (1) the was a positive correlation between critical
thinking with speed reading students, (2)There was a positive correlation between
interest in reading toward speed reading students, (3) There was a positive
correlation between critical thinking and interest in reading toward speed reading of
the students.
Therefore, the speed reading could be enhanced by increasing critical
thinking and interest in reading.

THE CORRELATION BETWEEN ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION


AND INTELLIGENCE WITH STUDENTS LEARNING OUTCOMES

ABSTRACT
The objective of the study is to find out: (1) the relationship between
achievement motivation and English learning outcomes, (2) the relationship
between intelligence and English learning outcomes, and (3) the relationship
between achievement motivation and intelligence all together with English learning
outcomes. The study makes use of survey method which implements regression

and multiple correlation technique. The study was carried out at SMAN 80 with a
sample of 80 students, selected randomly. Paper and pencil test and questionnaire
are the instruments of the study used in collecting the data. The result of the study
indicates that there are positive correlations between; (1) achievement motivation
and English learning outcomes, (2) intelligence and English learning outcomes, (3)
achievement motivation and intelligence all together with English learning
outcomes.
Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that achievement
motivation and intelligence contribute positively to the improvement of the English
learning outcomes.

TEACHERS SELF-DIRECTED LEARNING EFFECTIVENESS


IN DISTANCE EDUCATION

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research are to describe and evaluate the
implementation of teachers self-directed learning during their study in distance
education, related to the accordance with ideal standards of self-directed learning in
context of distance education and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors of
self-directed learning in distance education. The research was conducted in UPBJJUT Pangkal Pinang, Province of Bangka Belitung Archipelago, particularly in District
of Kelapa Kampit, Belitung Timur Regency, from Juni until November 2011.
This research used qualitative approach with case study method. The data
collecting techniques used were interview, observation, and documentation.
The results showed that the implementation of self-directed learning is not in
accordance with ideal standards of self-directed learning concept in context of
distance education. The effectiveness rate of teachers self-directed learning in the
district of Kelapa Kampit expressed in percentage is 62,85%. The supporting
factors of teachers self-directed learning are the strong motivation to learn, support
from the family, friends, and school, and the communicative tutors. The inhibiting
factors are the teachers are less able in time organizing to learn, less in matering of
computer and internet, lack of learning facilities such as libraries, bad weather, and
dalaying of moduls delivery or distributing.

ABSTRACT
The research intent to uncover more deeplu about the educational value, the
reason given values education in schools, how to teach for educational value, and
support of educational value for all parties.
This research uses a survey of opinion or judgement through the Delphi
method or technique of the value of education issues among high school students.
Informants of this study are practitioners in the field, religious leaders (Muslim,
Christian, Catholic, Hindu, and Buddhist), curriculum developers subject of religion,
education experts and policy makers.
This research concluded that, 1) high school learners require values
religiosity, independence, ethics, 2) the values that need to be preserved face of
environmental change and the reason is the value of religiosity, as the basis behave
relationship with God, fellow humans, and environment. The value of
independence, as the basis to face the changing times and behave science and
technology progress, social culture ang the arts. Values of decency, so as not to
behave as a basis of moral crisis. 3) the form implementation of the values is
through statements and actions Conducted in the family, home/community, school,
nation and state, and other environments. The implementation of these values can
be attitudes, behaviors, and daily action. 4) implementation business with
habituation values, ideals, respect, and cooperation with the parent and educator;
through relevant subjects; of mass media in synergy with the concerned institutions
(bureaucracy, NGOs, KPI) and performed with a continous system and obedient
principle.

Increasing Kindergarten Students Ability to Speak Mandarin Language
Through Active Learning Method in Sekolah High/Scope Indonesia

ABSTRACT
The objective of this research is to increase student speak Mandarin
language in the learning process during the classroom and also during the
environment that implemented in kindergarten school, by comparing the class
activities process with the ideal active learning standard as developed through
conceptual analysis. The research was taken place in kindergarten A Sekolah
High/Scope Indonesia Jakarta. The research is focused on the planning,

development, implementation, active learning of instructional process. Besides, this


research also focused to describe schools profiles and to identify the obstacle and
supporting components in developing active learning process.
The research used a qualitative approach with a action research study
method. The technique of data collecting used: non-participant observation,
interview, documentation, quetionare, and archival records. Data analysis used:
data reduction, presentation, conclusion and verivication. The validating findings in
this research used triangulation and data analysis.
The result of this research concludes that in developing the active learning
process, the school has done the whole process that relevance with the ideal
material, school fasilitation standard. Synergy of all components in active learning in
instructional process. There are relations between actibe learning process through
the game and joyful of learning process, and with the support of material, human
resources here is some teacher who take care of children, students, learning
resources, facilities, environment, and the role of parents or community will
contribute the quality improvement of active learning process it self.

Improving Students Ability to Conversation Through Activated Mammalian

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is to improve the conversation ability of student in
elementary school grade one, Bezeleel Plus School Bekasi. This study is an action
research which is implemented cyclically until the result of learning had been
achived and it is obtained after passing through those 3 cycles. This study also
involve principal, teacher and parents to create the result more significant.
This study concludes that Activation of mammalian brain to create joyfull
learning will increase students ability and confidence to talk in English with others at
schoo; and home environment.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to look at the implementation of blended learning strategies
in the course Introduction to Organizational Learning in the Department of
Curriculum and Educational Technology, Faculty of Education, State University of
Jakarta.
Research shows in general, they complement the face-to-face learning
carried out with 64% and the percentage of online learning conducted by 36%. The
sequence of learning starting in the presentation of textual descriptions in online
learning and starting in the presentation of textual descriptions in online learning
and the description is continued in complement to the process of deepening
learning. On-line learning process used the page www.courses.web-bali.net. The
method uses tends to complement the discussion on learning presented by student
groups and lectures conducted by the lectures, while in the online learning method
used is the method of study (reading literature), case studies, and discussion
forums that using the tool at www.web-bali.net.
For the media used in teaching complement is a slide presentation using the
LCD projectors, while for online learning using media www.courses.web-bali.net
pages. The time on learning face-to-face meetings held as many as 1 in 1 week
with weight classes, two credits, while the online lecture material presented
individual equally for about 2 weeks.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to discover the effect of teaching style and
mathematics anxiety on achievement in mathematics. The study was conducted at
Ibnu Sina Islamic Primary School, Jakarta with 30 students selected randomly as
the sample. Path analysis was employed as the design and mode of analysis.
The findings of the study showed that achievement in mathematics was
affected directly by teaching style and achievement in mathematics was also
affected directly by mathematics anxiety. On the other hand mathematics anxiety
was affected directly by teaching style.
Based on the result of the study, the achievement in mathematics could be
increased by improving the quality of teaching style and reducing mathematics
anxiety.
