We are learning about patterns in addition and
subtraction.
We know that we can use doubles, near
doubles, increase/decrease by one and sums of
10 to help find sums in an addition fact.
We are learning about related facts.
We know that knowing related facts makes it
easier to add and subtract. Related facts
helps us solve missing numbers.

 We are learning about adding and subtracting 2

digit numbers.
We know that when adding we can carry over
to the next place value and with subtraction we
can borrow 10 from the number to the left.
We are learning about estimating.
We know that we can estimate when we do not
need to know the exact answer.

help them live in these special environments.
We are learning how animals help each other.
We know that animals, like bees, help plants by
pollinating them. Plants help bees by making
nectar to drink.
