Hospitality Industry
The hospitality industry is much broader than most other industries. The
hospitality industry is a multi-billion dollar industry that depends on the
availability of leisure time and disposable income. While this industry is very
broad, there are some defining aspects that are important to understand. The
majority of
business niches are composed of only a handful of
different businesses, but this industry applies to nearly any company that is
focused on customer satisfaction and meeting leisurely needs rather than
basic ones.
Hospitality
Hospitality is the way of treating people in the way you want yourself to be
treated.
Hotels are called "home away from home" because it's the only place where
we get food & accommodation, provided all luxuries and comfort. The
hospitality also increases profit and reputation of the hotel. it also provide
handsome amount of revenue and give name and fame to the hotel. These
days we can easily get hospitality in retail outlets hotels hospitals and offices
and competition is so high that everyone wants to attract customer by one
mean or other.
In ancient times, when wheel was not discovered since then people use to
travel by walking, the cover long distance at that time sine then the concept
of hospitality was there but was no interest of money or any economic profit
travellers use to stay in homes of villagers then slowly inns were accruable but
in very low rent.

The number of Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTAs) has grown steadily in the
last three years reaching around 7.46 million during JanuaryDecember
2014. Foreign exchange earnings (FEEs) from tourism in terms of US
dollar grew by 7.1 per cent during January-December 2014 as compared
to 5.9 per cent over the corresponding period of 2013. FTAs during the
Month of December 2014 were Rs 120,083 crore (US$ 19.02 billion) as
compared to FTAs of Rs 107,671 crore (US$ 17.05 million) during
January-December 2013 over the corresponding period of 2012. There
has been a growth of 6.8 per cent in December 2014 over December
2013.

1. Hotel
Hotel is a place where a person can stay for a while by taking room or
apartment in it and
Hotel is a place which have various facilities
Example. Hotel TAJ, Add Apollo Bunder Mumbai - 400 001 Maharashtra,

Size oh hotel i.e 560 rooms and 44 suites. There are some 1,500 staff
including 35 butlers.
Facilities given by Taj hotel Are Pickup and Drop service by car, It has a
club of hotel, And hotel give special service if the guest required .
2. Restaurant
A restaurant is a business which prepares and serves food and drinks to
customers in exchange for money, either paid before the meal, after the
meal, or with an open account. Meals are generally served and eaten on
premises, but many restaurants also offer take out and food delivery
service . Restaurants vary greatly in appearance and offerings, including a
wide variety of cuisine and service models ranging from inexpensive fast
food restaurants to high-priced luxury establishments.

consumption on the premises. Irish pubs are to be found in cities
throughout the world. Pub also have Dance floor to enjoy dance and
alcoholic Beverages.

few large scale hospitality industry Business
The small hotels are not well known as the large hotels are. the large hotel
are known by there name, service, and their brand and the small hotels are
hidden but famous is small area so the large hotel dominate the small hotels.
