INTRODUCTION
This conference intended to gather science and mathematics educators,
academics, and researchers to discuss and address issues in the
improvement of science and mathematics education in the 21st century.
The development of the young generation in their ability to think
scientifically and apply science and mathematical knowledge for the
benefit of humanity is the main focus of this conference. Besides that,
this conference also provide more opportunities for science and
mathematics teachers especially from the East Malaysia who have less
opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skill, since there is limited
such conference held periodically in the East Malaysia. In keeping with
the dynamics nature of science and mathematics education and the
rapidly changing global environment, conference is the best platform to
encourage the application of appropriate methodologies and techniques
from many disciplines which related to science and mathematics. It
encourages comparative research into national higher education systems
globally. It also publish and exchange information with respect to
institutions with a view to illuminating current and developing issues of
common concern and raising the standard of science and mathematics
education management, planning and policy development at all levels.

EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS
The conference aims to add to this debate by stimulating discussion and
exchange of ideas between professionals, academics, researchers,
policy-makers, consultants, practitioners, government officials, teachers,
and postgraduate students in related fields.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
An abstract of about 250 words (in English) should be submitted through
the conference website by 15th June 2015.

TYPE OF PAPER
Full Paper
Full papers are presented in parallel sessions. They are between 810
pages in length. Full papers will be reviewed by a panel of international
reviewers on the basis of the significance of the paper, appropriateness
for the conference, quality of the research (conceptual, theoretical,
design, analysis) and the quality of writing (organization, clarity, and
style). This presentation format allows for 20 minutes of individual
presentation time followed by a 10 minute discussion moderated by the
session chairperson. Papers will be grouped by strand. Each accepted
paper will be scheduled in a session of 90 minutes, normally with three
presenters. Based on the peer reviewers recommendations, full papers
may be considered for publication in a conference book,
Internationalising the Future Generation through Science and
Mathematics Education tentatively scheduled to be published in 2016.
Brief Paper
Brief papers are presented in parallel sessions. They should generally be
between 35 pages in length. Brief papers are normally work in progress
and will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers on the basis of the
significance of the paper, appropriateness for the conference, quality of
the research (conceptual, theoretical, design, analysis) and the quality of
writing (organization, clarity, and style) but less rigour.
