TECHNICAL PROJECTS
Created a complete graphical computer adaptation of the family board game,
Journey Through Europe in JAVA
The project began with a Software Requirements Specification which served to outline
the adaptations features, followed by the creation of a Software Design Description
which detailed the softwares inner workings. These documents were created using the
IEEE Standard 830-1998 (R2009) and IEEE Standard 1016-2009 document formats
respectively.
The program consisted of over 4500 lines of code and was completed in under six weeks
Git was used for version control throughout the project.
Utilized JAVA FX for the GUI and allowed players to save and load game files to and from
their local disk.
Created a terminal simulator using memory mapping in MIPS assembly
Able to parse user input and derive escape codes, allowing the user to alter the color and
formatting of the text.
Provided users with a GUI that mimicked the experience of using a terminal.
Designed and constructed custom computers from the ground up for both casual and
power-users
Accrued revenue using Google AdSense as both a webmaster and a videographer
