Applications are invited for the position of JRF to work in the DAE-BRNS sponsored project
titled Growth and characterization of 2-D MoS2 monolayers for high sensitivity gas sensor
devices under the supervision of the undersigned, [Project No. 34/20/09/2015/BRNS]. The
position is temporary and is available immediately. The position is initially for 1 year and
extendable to 3 years subject to continuation of the project and satisfactory performance of
the incumbent. The selected candidate may be permitted to register for PhD program as per
the existing institute rules.
Positions: 1(JRF)
Duration: 3 years
Essential Qualifications: As per DAE guidelines [10/1(21)2014/Fellowship/R&D-II/3944
dated March 24th 2015]

JRF: M.Sc. in Physics or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks and must have
qualified NET / GATE or M.Tech. in relevant areas. Experience in thin film deposition and
nanostructures will be an added advantage.
Emoluments: As per DAE-BRNS guidelines.
