Vulakovich Makes Veterans Benefits Even Greater Public Service Priority
by Enlisting Volunteer Coordinator
Ass an elected public servant, one of my highest obligations is to look out for the best interests of those who have spent their lives
protecting America both at home and around the globe. Pennsylvania actively shows gratitude by providing benefits that assist our
veterans and their families. That’s why I am especially pleased to announce that local Army veteran Jay Londino has agreed to join
my district office staff in the capacity of Volunteer Veterans Benefits Coordinator.

With the second highest percentage of senior citizens of any county in the United States, the Pittsburgh area has a wealth of vet-
erans from World War II, Korea and Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and other military conflicts. These veterans have earned and deserve
access to programs and benefits provided at both the federal and state level.

I am grateful that Mr. Londino has come forward to volunteer his knowledge and expertise from 24 years of military service in support
of my never-ending efforts to make sure our hometown heroes receive every benefit to which they are entitled. In addition to benefits
assistance, Jay is also organizing and will instruct a free weekly fitness class for veterans and their families. The class will be structured
to fit the physical capabilities of each participant. Please contact my district office for details about Jay’s fitness class.

It’s important that we take time to honor our veterans with special ceremonies and parades. However, they deserve more than just
kind words of praise. May we never forget the sacrifices that each of our veterans have made so that all of us can enjoy the freedoms
we have today. All district veterans in need of assistance with military benefits or other government programs are encouraged to contact
my district office at (412) 487-6600.

Local Army veteran Jay Londino is now voluntarily serving on

Representative Vulakovich’s district office staff as Veterans Benefits
Coordinator.
