REVIVAL is on my mind.

First, pray for me as I travel to

Pikeville, TN next week to lead revival services at the Lee Station
Baptist Church. This is a wonderful country church where I had the
privilege of preaching a revival twelve years ago. I am looking
forward to the week and covet your prayers for safety in travel and
for the services.
REVIVAL Services will begin Sunday morning, Sept. 27, at
First Baptist. You can prepare by attending or hosting a cottage
prayer meeting. Pray for our Revival speakers, SundayRev.
Thomas Snead; Monday-Rev. Brad Price; TuesdayRev. Jack
Armstrong; and WednesdayDr. Kenneth Cloud. Or you can
prepare by attending our pre-revival prayer meetings that will be
held at the church during our Wednesday and Sunday evening
service times.
I think the seeds of revival have been planted from our first
two prayer services. Lets commit together to pray that they take
root and grow. Dont forget to be in your place of service this
Sunday.

FELLOWSHIP CLUB
Another exciting year of inspiration and fun begins on Monday, September 14, as Fellowship Club resumes. Frances and
Lindsay Gay will bless us with the best in Gospel Music.
There may even be another guest singer to drop in, as well!
Join your friends at noon that day. You will be blessed!

CHRISTMAS MUSICAL
I HEAR THE PROPHET CALLIN. All Adult singers are
invited to be a part of this musical. The music is based on
American Appalachian tunes and styles and will be led by a
live instrumental group! Free books and rehearsal CDs are
available. Please contact me if you could play or recommend
anyone on: flute, oboe, percussion, horn, autoharp, hammered
dulcimer, violin, viola, cello, or double bass.

CALLING ALL BELL RINGERS

Our new year of Handbells has begun. We have a few openings due to members moving and some going off to college.
Join us in the balcony Bell Room on Wednesday nights at 7
PM to discover the joys of ringing.

SAINTS ALIVE
The new shirts have arrived and they really looked good as we
shared last Sunday night. Weve begun rehearsing the new
music for our annual Senior Adult Choir Festival. Senior
Adult Choir Festival dates are: October 26-27. Clear your calendars for this two day trip to Toccoa, GA. Come prepared to
sign up and make your reservation to go with the group. We
always have a great time in the beautiful mountains of NE
Georgia and stopping at the apple farm on the way home. We
meet again on Monday, September 14. Remember our brownbag prayer time for Revival. It will be in the Fellowship Hall
and will follow our rehearsal on Monday, September 28.

Family Fun Night! Tailgate Party

Friday, September 18 Gold Parking Lot @ Centennial Field
Join us as we cheer on Bainbridge High School as they compete
against Thomasville. We will gather any time after 6 pm (alongside
the Foundations Sunday School class). The Children's Ministry will
provide the pizza and paper products, you bring your favorite tailgate
food, drinks and chairs. We look forward to seeing you there!

Women of Faith LOVED Tour

Friday, September 18 - Saturday, September 19 Orlando, FL
This is the last Women of Faith conference and you don't want to miss
out. Cost is $175 per person which includes conference tickets, hotel
accommodations (at two to a room), and transportation. Only 7 spots
left! Call the church office to reserve your spot.

Trunk or Treat Wednesday, October 28 7-8 pm

Children are invited to bring their candy buckets and visit cars for
treats and games!
But we need YOUR help. You can participate in the following ways:
1. Decorate a car. Sunday School classes, small groups or
individuals are invited to decorate a car (you can enter more than one
car, just make sure you have two people to man each vehicle). The
children's committee has many ideas to help get your creative ideas
flowing. You may even consider hosting a game or snack from your
vehicle. Sign up on the sheet in your Sunday School folder. Prizes
will be awarded again this year... and will be bigger and better!
2. Donate candy. We are asking cars to bring some candy, but we
need so much more! Please drop off individually wrapped candy to
the bucket outside the church office.

What's Happening:
September 13 AWANA Regular Night
September 18 Family Fun Night
September 23 No RAs, GAs, Mission Friends

I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend and

holiday. September is shaping up to be a great month
for our church. Our students will begin meeting in
small groups on Sunday evening beginning
September 20th. We will have one combined service
in the youth building to kickoff our small groups
and then the following weeks the small groups will
be meeting in homes on Sunday evening. Parents, I
encourage you to get your students plugged into a
small group.
September 23rd is the annual See You At The Pole
rally at each of our schools. Students are encouraged
to meet at their schools flagpole before school for a
time to pray for their school, city, and for our country.
We will end the month of September in a series of
revival meetings. Many years have passed since our
country has experienced revival. The time for revival
is now and the church needs it now as much as we
ever have. The great revivals throughout the Bible
and in history began because Gods people were
burdened for their culture and cried out for Him to
save them. Will you join in that prayer for our church
to experience a revival that can sweep across our
nation in an awakening among the people?
Blessings,
Jeff
