Presentation: Hawthorn Retirement Group plans for the Goulbourn Forced Road
Discussion on requested changes to the Centrum that are not in conformity with
Kanatas plans for the area for feedback from the community
Updates and community feedback on the 2016 budget, finalization of plan for
urban expansion to the north, development projects including the new school,
Cabelas, Park and Ride and Hilton Hotel.
ACE Ambassador Program for the Queensway-Carleton Hospital
Police report and safety issues including speeding and cycling routes
Items raised by the community

EXPO 55+ is just a week away - Fri Sept 18, Mlacak Centre, 1-3:30 pm, 2500
Campeau. Seniors and those with senior parents will appreciate the information
available for seniors from about 40 non-profit groups. Free event with refreshments and
door prizes.

TOW TRUCK DRIVER struck by a vehicle while helping a stranded motorist is a


resident of Kanata North. He was severely injured so neighbours are raising funds to
help the family. You can donate by going to www.gofundme.com/583zq2ms.

CLEANING THE CAPITAL register now to take part and keep our community
clean and tidy. Individuals, street groups, schools, churches, community groups and
businesses can participate in a cleanup and/or graffiti removal. Details and registration

back onto the future development lands, to determine the preferred buffer
between existing homes and the new development.

THURS SEPT. 24, PARK & RIDE PUBLIC MEETING 7pm, Minto Room,
Richcraft Recreation Complex Kanata, 4101 Innovation - to view plans for a new
Park & Ride, with Phase I to be built in 2016. OC Transpo representatives will be
present to discuss the impact on bus routes and receive your suggestions.
