METHOD STATEMENT
ON
REFRIGERANT PIPE AND FITTING INSTALLATION
1. GENERAL
The document describes the installation for the Refrigerant Pipes and Fittings, and consists of meterials, equipment
& tools, working procedure and installation flow - chart. Detail of the procedure contained herain may be modified based on the
actual site condition.

3.3 Tube Bender
3.4 Flaring Tool
3.5 Vacuum Pump
3.6 Manifold Gaupe
3.7 Spirit Level
3.8 Hammer
3.9 Pliers
3.10 Step Ladder
4. WORKING PROCEDURE
4.1 Preparation
* Pipe material should be dept at dry & clean place
* If pipe is not dirty then can be installed, If pipe is dirty, clean the internal and external surface to
reasonable free from other foreign material.
Cutting
* Use tube cutter for cutting and ream the cutting edge.
4.2 Jointing
* Brazing joint method shall be used for refrigerant pipe connection, except other connection method
are required by equipment, valve and accessory
5. QUALITY CONTROL
Quality control works should be performed in the particular works as described in the following
5.1 Pipeline dimension & level
* Pipeline dimension and level of refringerant pipe should be performed in accordance with approved shop
drawing.
5.2 Nitrogen gas pressure test
* Nitrogen gas pressure test of refrigerant pipe (for DX system) should be performed in accordance
with inspection.
5.3 Flushing & Vacuum
* Refrigerant pipe flushing & vacuum shall be done after connected to DX units.
* Details for flushing & Vacuum will be descriced in method statement of split type unit installation.
