TARGETS

POTOSI MINE

Veins System

(Underground Workings located in 9 claims)

-Consists of high grade

sulphidation epithermal veins.

low

-Approximately 6,000m underground

workings developed, of which 5,000m
is currently accessible for exploration.
-Mapping and Rock Sampling (surface
and underground) undertaken by CB
Gold from September 2009 to date.

Vetas Geological Setting

LOCAL GEOLOGY
A) Precambric Gneiss
-Metamorphic
rocks
(PBG)
related to Bucaramanga Gneiss,
consist
of
banded-quartz,
feldspar, hornblende and mica
gneisses.
-Hosts c.90% of the vein systems.
B) Intrusive Rocks
-Diorite to granitic composition
(Jurassic-Triassic) rocks intrude
the older basement rocks.
Younger intrusives maybe of
Tertiary age (such as Real Minera
property).
-Hosts c.10% of the vein systems.

Vetas Mineralization & Alteration

The properties are located in the
Vetas Mining District, and are
primarily Low Sulfidation Epithermal
gold-silver ocurrences.
In general, the quartz veins show an
assemblage with white-grey-dark
qtz,
pyrite
and
eventually
chalcedonic presence banded with
alteration consisting of pervasively
argillic-phyllic
gneiss,
variable
thicknesses of silicifaction envelope
the vein structures (0.3-1.5 m
width).
The structural events appear to be
the
principal
control
on
mineralization in the Vetas area.

2. VEINS & SHEAR ZONES (SPLIT)

The fracture system controlling

mineralization and alteration (veins
system) appears to be related to the
regional scale N30E and N60W
trending fault systems.

Au-Ag mineralization observed to date occurs

N30E, N40-60W and EW striking, vertical to subvertical dipping to the north, along the quartz
veins and together with shear zones are hosted
in the metamorphic gneiss and intrusive rocks.

3. FAULTS & LINEAMENTS
The properties are part of the Vetas
Mining District where the small
mines and targets in the District are
concentrated along two blocks
separated by two small streams:
Cutac and Volcan, main lineaments
associated to faults related to
trending vein system (N30E, N4060W, EW).
The Northwest striking Cutac and
Volcan fault zones appear to be the
principal structural controls on
mineralization in the Vetas and
Reyna de Oro areas respectively.

4. MINERALIZED BLOCKS
BLOCK 1:
Located to the west side of Cutac Stream,
related to El Dorado, La Providencia and
Trompeteros mines with N30W and EW
strike dipping to the north, with
geochemistry and high gold and silver
grades in each level indicating a downthrown block. Irregular presence of Cu, Pb
and Zn anomalies.
The preliminary interpretation indicates a
block which is higher up in the original
system and therefore been less eroded,
where lower levels can indicate the
presence of polymetallic + Au in economic
grades.

4. MINERALIZED BLOCKS (Contin.)
BLOCK 2:

Located between the Cutac and Volcan

streams and to the north by the El Salado
stream, Block 2 contains the Potosi, Los
Delirios, La Peter, Santa Isabel, Real
Minera and San Antonio mines. Veins
have N30E and N40-60W strike, all
dipping to the north. Block 2 is upthrown
and geochemistry results show Au-Ag
high grade values with Cu, Pb, Zn and Mo
anomalous results.
Intrusion of granitoids rocks over the
gneiss makes San Antonio property the
upper level; Reyna de Oro and intrusive
rocks the upper-middle level and Real
Minera, La Peter, San Bartolo, Chitarero,
Los Delirios, Tesorito and Potosi veins an
intermediate level.

5. POTENTIAL
Block 1

Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn

Below the Au-Ag level there is strong

potential related to Au-Ag-Cu-Pb-Zn
levels mineralisation.
The immediate potential is along
strike SW containing veins with
N30W strike and dipping to the
north.

This block has different levels where the

potential for further success is: below the
Au-Ag upper-intermediate level, the
stockwork zone, below the intemediate
level which includes the San Bartolo,
Tesorito, Chitarero, Real Minera, La Peter,
Los Delirios and Potosi mines with Au-AgCu-Pb-Zn-Mo ocurrence potenial over
about 500m vertical.
The immediate potential is along the SE

Vetas Stockwork
Stockwork (Disseminated bulk tonnage lower grade Au target)
- In Pre-Colombian times it was worked by the indigenous Sura, and then by the Spanish
through small open pits over the stockwork, known locally as Pozo del Rey or La Araa.
-Sampling each 50m of on surface shows significant anomalous Au values in both intrusive
and the surrounding gneiss stockwork (Real Minera)

Vetas Stockwork
Stockwork (lower grade Au)
- Consists of quartz-FeOx, white quartz and FeOx-quartz-pyrite multi-directional veinlets.
- Width from 1 to 5 cm and argillic and supergene alteration. Zone is 600m x 300 x 300m.
- The principal mineralization is associated with FeOx-Qtz-Py at surface with gold high
grades.
