Bowmansville Church from 8:30 am-3 pm. Please bring your lunch. Coffee and tea
are provided. Our project for this month is Sewing Kits.

Theme Baskets are needed for the Country Auction at the MCC Relief Sale on
April 3rd. Just get a basket/container and fill it with items related to a certain
theme. Some ideas include: Children’s basket, sports basket, snack basket, picnic
basket, etc.
Use your own creativity and have fun!
If you would enjoy collecting items but are not sure about assembling them, we
would be happy to do that for you!
Your basket needs to be at the Country Auction by 9:00 Saturday morning…or if it
would be helpful, we can deliver it to the auction for you. Please feel free to

Summer Camp Ministry Opportunities at Woodcrest Retreat in Ephrata, PA


Volunteer positions: (day time- by the week): day camp counselors, craft
instructors, Bible teachers, kitchen assistants.
Paid positions: (June- Aug.) health care director, resident and day camp
counselors, nature instructor, challenge course instructor, part-time kitchen

Nature Shack Coordinator: Woodcrest Retreat is seeking a mature individual
who has a love for God’s unique creation. This individual should have a
background in and knowledge of caring for a variety of creatures. Duties would
include organizing the nature shack, overseeing the care of creatures and a
willingness to assist the summer nature instructor in lesson preparation to allow for
a great nature learning experience for the summer campers. This volunteer
position would require several hours per week May through August. For more

April 5, Mon,- Friendship Community will host Talent Night at 7 pm at Mellinger


Mennonite Church, 1916 Lincoln Highway East in Lancaster. A freewill offering

April 29,Thurs.- Friendship Community has been invited by the Wenger


Foundation to be a part of its Praise Dinner held at the Lebanon Fairgrounds
and Expo Center at 6:00 pm. The evening is filled with delicious food and
entertainment by the Allen Family and The Diplomats. Cost is $100 per person or
$1,000 for a table of ten. Registration deadline is April 8th. Proceeds benefit four
non-profit. Christian ministries including Friendship. Call Milt Stoltzfus at (717)
