What are your first

impressions?

The tempo of the song is slow, but gradually the song and beat gets faster.
Its very different to most mainstream. The vocalist emphasizes his words
and shows emotion in the song.

Do you like the piece of

music? Why?

I like it because it sounds similar to James Bay who sings similar songs
such as Hold up the river

What emotion does this

music convey? Why?

The emotions in the song sound sad and quite mellow. However during
the song the beat gets faster which then the artist gets confident and
gradually brings the song up louder and shows energy.

What music do you

normally listen to? How
is this different?

I normally listen to rock music. The style compared to the song is very
different. This is because it has electric guitars whereas in this piece of
music it has mostly drums which give it a beat which gradually builds up.

What do you like the

most about this piece of
music?

I feel a bit meh about the song. Its not a song I would listen to 24/7 but
I would listen to it occasionally depending on my mood.

What do you dislike

most about this piece of
music?

What I dont like about the music is the vocal style, and it sounds a bit
mainstream. I dont like the vocals that much because it sounds a bit
weird to me than what I originally listen to.
