Florida Representatives Endorse Neal Dunn for

Florida Congressional District 2
Representatives Dennis Baxley, Jay Trumbull & Elizabeth Porter Support Neal Dunn for CD2
Panama City, Fla. Neal Dunn, Republican candidate for Florida Congressional District 2,
today announced that Florida House Representatives Dennis Baxley (R-Ocala), Jay Trumbull (RPanama City) and Elizabeth Porter (R-Lake City) have endorsed him in his campaign.
As a physician, Neal Dunn has been a leader in conservative health care policy here in Florida,
said Representative Baxley. No one is better prepared to help lead the repeal of Obamacare than
Neal. I am happy to lend him my support.
Neal is an advocate for issues that matter to Floridians, including supporting our military,
growing our economy and repealing Obamacare, said Representative Trumbull. He is the
conservative voice District 2 needs in Congress, and I am proud to support his campaign.
I am happy to join with my fellow Republican House members in endorsing Neal Dunn in his
campaign for Congressional District 2, said Representative Porter. As a leader in his
community, Neal has proven his dedication and commitment to our area, and I know that North
Florida will be in good hands with Dr. Dunn.
I would like to sincerely thank Representatives Baxley, Trumbull and Porter for their support,
said Dr. Dunn. I am grateful that these Florida House Representatives have put their faith in me,
and lent me their endorsement as I continue to advocate for a conservative agenda on issues that
matter most to our community, including helping to strengthen our economy, grow our
workforce, support our military and repeal Obamacare.
Since announcing his candidacy for Florida Congressional District 2, Dr. Dunn has been
endorsed by former Speaker Allan Bense, former Senate President Don Gaetz and former
Speaker Will Weatherford.

Neal P. Dunn, MD, FACS has been a surgeon in Panama City for 25 years and in the U.S. Army
for more than 10 years before that. He was the founding president of the Advanced Urology
Institute, a 45-physician practice with more than 400 employees and offices throughout North
Florida. He also founded Panama City Urology Center & the Bay Regional Cancer Center and
has a subspecialty interest in advanced prostate cancer. He sits on the Governor's Prostate Cancer
Advisory Council and also serves on the Florida Blue Physician Advisory Board. He received his
B.S. from Washington & Lee University and his M.D. from George Washington University. His
Urological Residency was at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He has served on the Board of
Governors of the Florida Medical Association for 18 years and was the chairman of the Florida
Medical Association's very successful Council on Legislation. He has served as president of his
County Medical Society, chief of staff of Gulf Coast Hospital and director of the Bay Medical
Center Sacred Heart Joint Venture. He is active in several philanthropies, including serving as
chairman of the Bay Cares program, a charity that provides $30 million of free specialty care
annually to the working poor (with an operational overhead of less than 0.5 percent). He is also
the founding chairman of Summit Bank, a rapidly growing five-star bank headquartered in
Panama City with branches throughout Northwest Florida. In 2014, Dr. Dunn was appointed to
the Board of Space Florida which manages the state's growing assets of space launch,
manufacture and assembly facilities. Space Florida is now the busiest space launch facility in the
world. He is also on the board of directors of Enterprise Florida, a public-private collaborative
group that oversees some $100 million in economic development grants and conduit financing
annually. Dr. Dunn has been married to his wife, Leah, for 30 years and has three sons and three
grandsons.
