1. DEWA - Min of AED 150 for water and electricity only
2. Housing Fee - Paid to Municipality (5% of you annual rent but divided over 12 months and included in DEWA. So a minimum
3. Internet + TV Cable (AED 325 per month)
4. Chiller (Min charges of AED300 per month. However, in some localities chiller and cooking gas is free).
Apart from this, one needs to pay 5% commission to the agent and 5% security deposit to the landlord. Also rent are paid in ad
2/4 cheques. Some, landlord are even asking to pay the entire annual rent upfront i.e. in 1 cheque. For families with children, the

costs so much, so if you are earning below that, either you have to share one room with 3 others or get a better paying job. If yo
