about, but is set to be released
sometime in 2016. In the short
time that would follow, Keyes's
last act would be a foreword he
wrote for The Camp Crystal Lake
Diaries book titled, Friday The
13th : History, Film Locations, &
The Untold. Keyes's sister, Ilene
Glick, who resides in the state of
New York, confirmed to The
Camp Crystal Lake Diaries by
phone that about a week after
Keyes did the book foreword, he
had fallen much more ill and had
gotten worse from that point on.
The Camp Crystal Lake Diaries
was later contacted by Glick again
on the afternoon of July 8th. She
wrote, Lost Irwin last night. in
her message.

Irwin Keyes, a character actor,
who specialized in playing
villains and henchmen, and who

The Camp Crystal Lake Diaries
highly recognized his role as the
bus boy in Friday The 13th,

bus boy in Friday The 13th

(1980). Keyes remembered
being inside of what used to
be known as Hartung's
General Store in Hope, N.J.
back in 1979, while Friday
The 13th was in its early
production stages. He would
sometimes joke with me about
Hartung's former store and
once wrote to me saying,
That was me playing a bus
boy inside of Hartung's. I was
holding a broom and it was so
early on in my life...when I
had all of my hair!
Irwin Keyes's manager,
Travis Engle, said that the
cause of Keyes' death was
complications of acromegaly,
a disorder in which the
pituitary
gland
produces
excess growth hormone. The
condition, which Engle said
Keyes had his entire life, can
cause changes in facial bone
structure
and
lead
to
premature death. Keyes had
been living at a rehabilitation
center in the Playa del Rey
area of Los Angeles, Ca. for
the last two years.
Born on March 16, 1952,
in New York City, N.Y.,
