1) The plot is a world where the rich and the poor are severely separated and
prejudiced the leader leads with an iron fist something which is reinforced as he
created the hunger games as a reminder of his power as he destroyed the 13 th
district as they tried to revolt so the hunger games serves as punishment to which
the remaining twelve districts have to pick two sacrifices, one boy and one girl, to
fight in an arena to the death with fellow sacrifices from the other eleven districts
and they fight to become rich but also to survive.

mainly females.

1) The plot is starts off as a mystery as peters, who is the main
character, parents leave him with his aunt may and uncle ben
with no explanation as peter grows older he gets more and
more interested in what happened to his parents which leads
him to oscorp where he gains spider like powers and this sends
him on a quest of vigilantism.
2) Teens and familys especially those who have small children
and children who are fans of Spiderman.

5) The director is Marc Webb this not his typical movie the only
similar movie he has made was the sequel.
6) Andrew Garfield played the main character while he was less

Character profiles: Katniss Everdeen
Family: her Family is fairly small as she
only has a mother and a sister named
Mrs Everdeen and primrose Everdeen
Background: she was part of a poor
family and district oppressed by the
rich in the capital to be able to afford
food she illegally leaves the district
and illegally poaches animals and sells
them on the black market and when
her sister is picked as tribute for the
hunger games she volunteers as tribute.
Interests: she wishes to leave district 12 with Gale, her love interest,
and run into the wild where president snow has no
control but she cant not as she has to look after her
family.
Character profiles: Gale
Family: Gale is the oldest child of the Hawthorne
family with three younger siblings; Rory, Vick, and
the only girl, Posy who was born shortly after their father died in a
mining accident that also killed Katniss' father. After his father's
death, Gale struggles to provide for his family with help from his
mother, Hazelle.
Background: his background is fairly similar to Katniss as he also
illegally poaches animals to provide for his family and is in the same
set of circumstances.

Interests: Gale Hawthorne is Katniss Everdeen's best friend and

hunting partner, one of the series' main characters. He is fiercely
devoted to his family and to Katniss and is a true rebel and visionary
at heart. He is in love with Katniss.
Character profiles: Haymitch
Family: his mother, younger brother and girlfriend
were all killed by President Snow.
Background: Haymitch Abernathy was the first
victor from District 12, who won the 50th Hunger
Games when he was sixteen. He also is the only
living victor in District 12 and he mentored twentythree years of tributes before the 74th Hunger
Games.
Interests: Haymitch doesn't work, he drinks alcoholic beverages, but
before the second rebellion, he mentored tributes annually.
However, after the war he raises geese in addition to obsessively
drinking. Haymitch probably gets most of his money from the
Capitol's Victors monthly allowance.

List of characters: Spiderman/Peter Parker, Gwen Stacy, Aunt May,
Uncle Ben, the Lizard/ Dr Kurt Conners, Captain Stacy.
Character profiles: Peter Parker / Spider-Man
Background: Peter Parker is a Teenager struggling to find his place
in life ever since his parents disappeared when he was a child. A
spider bites him on the back of his neck, giving him spider-powers.

He becomes Spider-Man. Using his new found powers to reveal the

conspiracy surrounding his parents and making sure that this doesnt
happen to anyone again by using his powers to fight crime and
protect the innocent. This belief comes from his well-known
catchphrase with great power comes great responsibility
Character profiles: Gwen Stacy
Family: A high school classmate and love interest of Parker's Gwen
Stacy comes from a family with strict morals and a firm belief in the
law. This comes from her farther being a captain in the New York City
police department and hunts Spiderman out of distrust. This is
obviously a problem for peters and Gwens relationship. She also has
other siblings who arent involved in the story/movie.
Background: Gwen Stacy was Peter Parkers first serious girlfriend
however she is almost between Peter and her father Captain George
Stacy who is trying to arrest Spiderman, who Gwen knows to be
Peter has to almost betray her father this only puts pressure on their
relationship.
Character profiles: Dr. Curt Connors / Lizard
Background: One of Oscorp's leading scientific minds who attempts
to engineer a revolutionary regeneration serum to help regrow limbs
and human tissue. Something goes wrong, and he is transformed
into the monster known as the Lizard.
