INTRODUCTION
We the students of M.Sc. Nsg Ist year and B.Sc. nursing III Year of
J.I.N.S.A.R College decided to have a visit to nariniketan jabalpur.
NARINIKETAN - it is the institute that makes the orphan children lives
better
The visit was undertaken under the guidance of Mrs. Arti tiwari madam.
On the scheduled day i.e. on 5/07/08, at sharp 11.30 am we started to
nariniketan from our college. As soon as we reached the two senior
teachers welcomed . We introduce our self to them.
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the visit is:1. To encourages adoption of orphans and destitute children.
2. To understand how to teach such students
3. To know about their psychology
4. To understand about their intellectual level
5. To make rapport with the such students.
6. To assess the consciousness level of students.
7. To apply therapies according to the levels.
ORINTATION
1. We were guided by 1 teachers of Nari niketan; they gave us the
orientation of well developed and environmentally blessed of Nari
niketan.
2. Every student can move in the school surrounding freely.
Even if the PAPs prefer to adopt from an agency other than the
nearest one, they are to register with the nearest adoption agency.
The PAPs, however, can route the adoption request through SARA /
ARC of the State for adopting from their preferred agency.

Once a successful matching has been done, the institution will file a
petition to the Court/JJB for obtaining the necessary orders under the
relevant Act.
Miscellaneous Activities
Tailoring Classes:: On an average 35-40 girls, mostly from outside
are given tailoring training classes at nominal fee.
Special School: : The school is being run on our premises under
the aegis of Rotary Club, Jalandhar since last 6 years under NCLP
(National Child Labour Project) after school timings. It has 50
children (from class 1 to 5) from poor families.
Computer Class : A computer class is being run at our premises in
collaboration with Aircel. This centre is imparting computer
education to youth and children in the nearby areas. Now the
strength stands at 75 children.
CONCLUSION
Really it was an unforgettable event for us. Teachers and students cooperated with us. We came to understand that by encouraging them. We
can bring hidden talents of them and make them beneficial for the
society.
