LEV 23:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto
them, Concerning the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even
these are my feasts:

ELLEN G. WHITE PROMOTED THE FEAST DAYS

The Weekly Sabbath Is The Very First Feast Day Mentioned In Leviticus 23
Feast Days Are Statutes. Statutes Are A Salvational Issue (Psalms 119:155)
Statutes Guard The Ten Commandments And Define Morality
Feast Days Were Never Nailed To The Cross, Our Sinful Record Was!
*We as Seventh-day Adventists recognize that Satan uses a counterfeit weekly day of rest to
conceal the true Sabbath, could it be that Satan's counterfeit holy day system with Christmas and
Easter etc. etc. etc. is nothing but a smoke screen to conceal and/or hide and distract from
Heaven's true annual holy day system that teaches us about the plan of salvation?

-- In consequence of continual transgression, the moral law was repeated in

awful grandeur from Sinai. Christ gave to Moses religious precepts which were to
govern everyday life. These statutes were explicitly given to guard the Ten
Commandments. They were not shadowy types to pass away with the death of Christ.
They were to be binding upon men in every age as long as time should last.
These commands were enforced by the power of the moral law, and they clearly
and definitely explained that law. (ST April 15, 1875 [Reprinted in RH May 6, 1875]).
{1BC 1104.6}
Note: The statutes were given to guard the Ten Commandments. Both statutes and the Ten
Commandments are part of the moral code. The feast days are to the statutory law what the
Sabbath is to the Ten Commandments. This means that the two codes of law work together. The
statutes receive their power from the Ten Commandments and thus, if we violate the statutes
it is the same as if we violated one of the Ten Commandments. We can draw a similar
scenario with the President and His body guards. The body guards receive their power from the
President, therefore if one attacks one of the Presidents body guards it is as if he had attacked
the President himself. Severe consequences would be the sure result as will be for those
ignoring the feast days and the statutes of Moses.

"If man had kept the law of God, as given to Adam after his fall, preserved in the ark by
Noah, and observed by Abraham, there would have been no necessity for the ordinance of
circumcision. And if the descendants of Abraham had kept the covenant, of which circumcision
was a token or pledge, they would never have gone into idolatry, nor been suffered to go down
into Egypt; and there would have been no necessity for God to proclaim his law from
Sinai, engraving it upon tables of stone, or guard it by definite directions in the judgments
and statutes given to Moses." {ST, June 17, 1880 par. 2}

Statutes Prepare Our Characters For Translation - "God is now testing and proving
His people. Character is being developed. Angels are weighing moral worth, and keeping a faithful record of all the acts of
the children of men. Among God's professed people are corrupt hearts; but they will be tested and proved. That God who
reads the hearts of everyone, will bring to light hidden things of darkness where they are often least suspected, that
stumbling blocks which have hindered the progress of truth may be removed, and God have a clean and holy people to
declare His statutes and judgments. {1T 332.3} The Captain of our salvation leads His people on step by step,
purifying and fitting them for translation, and leaving in the rear those who are disposed to draw off from the body,
who are not willing to be led, and are satisfied with their own righteousness. Note: To reject, resist and fight against
the statutes is tantamount to saying Im satisfied with my own righteousness and have no interest in being purified
and fitted for translation.
Abortion - Although many abortionists seem to have a history with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and
Adventist hospitals reportedly cooperate in facilitating abortions, the official position of the Adventist church
appears at first glance to affirm the "sanctity of human life." However, the statement goes on to state that
"decisions about life must be made in the context of a fallen world" and that "abortion should be performed
only for the most serious reasons," including "severe congenital defects," "rape or incest" or the mother's
health. In practical application, the Adventist church does not seem to condemn any specific instances of
abortion, emphasizing that "the final decision whether to terminate the pregnancy or not should be made by
the pregnant woman...," which amounts to convenience abortion on demand.
Nevertheless, author Nic Samojluk has documented that early Adventists, including James and Ellen White,
were strongly opposed to abortion.

The True Seventh Day Sabbath

The history of the lunar Sabbath teaching within the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the sad story of a
cover-up spanning decades. Heaven has tried many times to bring this truth to the world, but each time
spiritual pride or fear of the consequences of accepting such a radically different truth has led the Church to
reject it and, still more, to cover up the evidences in support of this truth. In flyer 2, we explain how Gods
calendar works, and in flyer 10 we have a calendar you can download at scribd/endtimes777.

Robert Folkenburg Sr.

(born January 1, 1941 in
Santurce, Puerto Rico), served as
General Conference president of
the Seventh-day Adventist
Church from 1990 through to his
resignation in 1999.
In the mid-1990s, questions arising out of California and Washington regarding the concept of the lunar Sabbath and
the 1844 Day of Atonement prompted the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (GC) to take action. In
1995, an order originating from the office of then-GC president, Robert Folkenberg, Sr., commissioned a study group
to ascertain how Day of Atonement was determined in 1844 as well as resolve the effect such calculation might have
on the seventh-day Sabbath- Ellen G White was always in favour of developing biblically based truths, and new
light was being shed on the biblical calendar all the time.
The committee members consisted of five scholars hand-picked from the seminary at Andrews University. In addition
to these five, there was also a representative from the Ministerial Department of the North American Division (NAD)
of Seventh-day Adventists and another representative from the Ministerial Department of the General Conference.
Robert M. Johnston, professor of New Testament and Christian Origins at the seminary, was selected to head this
research committee. No representative from the Biblical Research Institute was on the committee as it was felt that the
well-respected scholarship of the various members was of sufficient authority that it was not needed.

Robert M. Johnston
Chairman of the 1995 Research Committee
The vaults were thrown open for the committee. They were asked to research the Grace Amadon Collection
(housed at the Center for Adventist Research at Andrews University) as well as the four volume series, The
Prophetic Faith of Our Fathers, by Leroy Edwin Froom. Additional material supplied the committee for
study was a series of letters, written by well-respected Adventist scholar, M. L. Andreasen. A research paper
on the subject by Elder J. H. Wierts was to be provided, but before it could be studied, something
unexpected happened.
It had been expected that the committee would be able to very quickly refute the idea of the Sabbath being
calculated by the ancient Hebrew luni-solar calendar. However, that is not what happened. As the committee
members began thoroughly studying into the subject of the Biblical calendar used for calculating the Day of
Atonement in 1844 and the facts of the crucifixion date, several of them became convicted of obvious

inconsistencies revealing that Saturday is not the Bible Sabbath.

The Seventh-day Adventist denomination was founded upon a belief that the 2300 day/year prophecy of Daniel 8:14
ended on October 22, 1844, as taught by the Millerite Movement of the 1840s. But the only way to arrive at that
specific, foundational date is by using a different calendar, the ancient Biblical luni-solar calendar, to pinpoint the Day
of Atonement for the cleansing of the Sanctuary. See websites below for more information:
