Eytukan was the patriarch of the Omaticaya Clan, the mate of Mo'at, the father

of Neytiri and Sylwanin and father-in-law of Jake Sully. Eytukan was responsible
for the overall leadership of the Omaticaya Clan on Pandora during the RDA
occupation. Under his instructions, his daughter Neytiri trained Jake Sully in the
lifestyle of the Na'vi. He was killed during The Destruction of The Hometree by
falling wood, which impaled him through the chest.

His great-grandfather was the fifth Toruk Makto, the sixth being Jake.

Meeting Jake Sully

After a sign from Eywa, Neytiri took Jake Sully to Hometree to be judged by her
father and her mother. Eytukan prevented Tsu'Tey from killing Jake when Jake
explained he was a warrior, and, along with Mo'at, was partially responsible for
Jake's adoption into the Omaticaya Clan. He also conducted Jake's initiation
ceremony to the Omaticaya Clan. After the ceremony, Eytukan seemed to have
respect for Jake; it seemed like Eytukan treated him as if he were his own son.
When Jake revealed why he was sent to do his mission, Eytukan was enraged,
and had Jake and Grace bound for treason against the Clan.

The Destruction of The Hometree and Death

During the RDA assault, Eytukan and Tsu'tey encouraged the Omaticaya to fight
despite Jake's plea for them to run into the forest. He was fatally wounded when
a shard of wood from the Hometree impaled him in the torso. Upon his death,
Eytukan handed over his ceremonial bow to his daughter, Neytiri, thus giving her
leadership responsibility of the Omaticaya Clan.
Mo'at is a main character in Avatar who is the Tsahìk, or spiritual leader of the
Na'vi Omaticaya Clan. According to Cameron's original script, her name means
"Dream Catcher." [1] She is mated with Eytukan and has two children: Neytiri and
Sylwanin. She attempts to keep peace between the independent Neytiri and her
father, and while she does not initially approve of Jake and Neytiri's relationship
(as shown by her line to Eytukan: "We cannot let this seed grow. Her path is with
Tsu'tey." [2]). Ultimately, she creates the freedom for her daughter to be with her
love interest. She is partially responsible for Jake's adoption into the Omaticaya
Clan.

She is seen as a psychic or a 'bridge' to the Na'vi beliefs - more specifically,

Eywa.

She is portrayed by actress CCH Pounder.

The Na'vi (English: The People) are a race of sentient extraterrestrial humanoids
who inhabit the lush jungle moon of Pandora. Humans are known to refer to them
as "blues," "savages," "the locals" or "the natives." Parker Selfridge at one point
in the movie refers to them as "blue monkeys." The indigenous Na'vi are, on
average, approximately 3 meters (~ 10 feet) tall, with smooth, striped cyan-
colored skin, large amber eyes, and long, sweeping tails. They are the only
known extraterrestrial species discovered to have human-like consciousness and
intelligence. Although the Na'vi are paleolithic hunter-gatherers, they have
developed a sophisticated culture based on a profound spiritual connection to
other life on their moon, each other, and an encompassing "spirit" they call Eywa.

Habitat and Range

Various biomes of Pandora. Population concentrated in rainforest regions.
Outlying clans have been detected on each continent and in subarctic,
swampland, and mountainous regions.[1]
Some Na'vi clans, including the Omaticaya, live in tremendously large
ancient trees they call Kelutral, or "Hometree."

Physiology
 Navi skin is smooth, iridescent, and cyan in color accentuated with slightly
darker cyan stripes. Their bodies have feline-like features such as long sweeping
tails, pointed ears and triangular faces with flat bifuracated noses, all framed with
large, almost hypnotically golden eyes. Bioluminescent markings that seem to
follow the path of the circulatory or nervous system aid in identification and mood
display. Average life span is similar to that of a human.
 Despite cyan skin color, Na'vi have red blood.
Neytiri te Tskaha Mo'at’ite (known only as Neytiri in the film) is a Na'vi princess
of the Omaticaya Clan. She is the daughter of Eytukan and Mo'at and younger
sister of Sylwanin. She will be the future Tsahìk of the tribe, with her mate Jake
Sully becoming the Olo'eyktan (clan leader).

Neytiri first meets Jake Sully in the woods. As she is about to kill him with an
arrow, a Woodsprite, or seed of the Sacred Tree, touches her arrowhead. She
reads that as a sign from Eywa to let him go. She later saves Jake from a pack of
viperwolves, and takes him into the clan, where she reluctantly agrees to teach
him the Na'vi culture and language, as her mother suggests. Neytiri helps Jake
on several tasks, like making Tsahaylu, riding a direhorse, performing Iknimaya,
etc. When Jake becomes a member of the Omaticaya clan, she accepts his
choosing of her as a mate, and they mate for life. However, when Jake fails to
convince the Omaticaya to move, the RDA assaults and burns the Hometree.
Neytiri's father Eytukan is killed in the evacuation, and Jake is ousted as a traitor.
When Jake returns to them as the sixth Toruk Makto, he convinces them about
his allegiance and Neytiri travels with him to gather all the other Na'vi clans'
support. She also participates in the great defense against the RDA forces.
When things look grim for the Na'vi, Eywa sends animals against the intruders
and a Thanator allows Neytiri to ride her through Tsahaylu. Finally, she tries to
protect Jake's body when Colonel Quaritch, in his AMP Suit, attempts to kill him,
but he manages to kill her Thanator. After Jake stops Quaritch's killing blow and
comes close to death himself at Quaritch's hands, she shoots Quaritch with her
bow, before saving Jake again by placing an Exopack on his human form.

Early Life

Neytiri is born as Neytiri te Tskaha Mo'at'ite, daughter of Mo'at. She grows up

learning through songs, as all Na'vi do, learning to love and celebrate their
connection with Eywa and all other life.

She learns English from Grace Augustine's school, but it is closed down when
relations between the humans and the Na'vi become hostile, most likely because
of the death of her sister Sylwanin at the hands of human soldiers. Her English is
broken, and she speaks with a thick Na'vi accent.

Neytiri Meets Jake Sully

While Neytiri is hunting in the woods, she sees an Avatar and stalks him. As she
is about to kill him with a bow, a Woodsprite floats down and gently touches her
arrowhead, telling her that the Avatar is pure. When the Avatar is attacked by a
pack of viperwolves, she protects him by fending off the creatures. The Avatar
introduces himself as Jake Sully and tries to thank her for the assistance, but
Neytiri angrily rejects him as she is forced to kill two of the viperwolves to protect
him (all creatures are considered by the Na'vi to be children of Eywa). Jake asks
why she saved him, and she says it's because he has a strong and fearless
heart. Then dozens of woodsprites land on Jake. Amazed by what she just
witnessed, Neytiri sees this as a good omen from Eywa and decides to take him
to Hometree.

Neytiri respects the Na'vi way of life and is careful to obey their laws and
traditions. She doesn't like to kill if she can help it and is angry with Jake Sully for
forcing her to kill viperwolves in order to save him.

Like her mate, Neytiri is brave, loyal and strong minded. She is devoted to her
people and willing to put herself in a dangerous situation for the sake of her clan.
At one point she plans to take on a group of human machines single-handed,
even though she knows it's suicide. She is also wise, despite her young age, and
can see past a person's physical flaws to the heart within. This is proven by her
relationship with Jake Sully; she falls in love with him because of his strong heart,
and even when she sees him in his human form she doesn't stop loving him.

Neytiri has a tendency to get angry when people close to her do wrong or when
others try to offend her loved ones. When Tsu'tey tries to kill Jake's unconscious
body, she attacks Tsu'tey, flinging him away, and then ferociously defends Jake's
vulnerable body. When Jake reveals his true mission, Neytiri is heartbroken and
yells furiously at him. However, s

However, she later forgives him because she knew that he was a traitor to the
Sky People, not the Na'vi. When Quaritch tries to kill Jake, Neytiri uses all her
rage and emotion to kill him.

Despite her respect for life, Neytiri is a formidable warrior. She is very skilled with
a bow, and taught Jake how to use one as well. She is also adept in close range
combat with her knife, bow and bare hands. She once single-handedly killed a
pack of viperwolves and managed to kill the powerful warrior Colonel Quaritch,
even when the latter was armored with a AMP Suit (however, Quaritch was
distracted dealing with Jake and hadn't noticed Neytiri's actions), and Na'vi had
very slim understanding of technology. This resulted in a permanent breach
between the two sides: both saw each other as inferior.

In addition to her deadly fighting skills, Neytiri is an excellent flyer on her

Banshee Seze. Like many Na'vi, she learned English at Grace Augustine's
school.
Tsu’tey te Rongloa Ateyitan was one of the Omaticaya Clan's finest warriors
and archery experts. He was the clan leader for a short period of time from
August 20-22, 2154. He was killed by a machine gunner during the Assault on
the Tree of Souls after valiantly dispatching several RDA soldiers.

Early Life

Tsu'tey was born in the Omaticaya Clan, as the son of Ateyo. While still young he
was chosen to be Neytiri's mate and the next Olo'eyktan. He grew up to be the
finest warrior and leader of the clan's hunters.

Later Life

Tsu'tey was to be mated with Neytiri, the Omaticaya's Clan princess, and they
would then become the leaders of the clan. Jake Sully was captured by Tsu'tey,
and at Neytiri's insistence Jake was brought before Mo'at, the Omaticaya's
Tsahìk, who then decided that Jake would be taught the Na'vi ways. Tsu'tey
maintained hostility towards Jake from the moment they first met in the jungles of
Pandora, and his anger only grew as he realized that Jake and Neytiri were
falling in love. Upon finding out that Jake had mated with Neytiri, he was
outraged and attempted to kill him. Jake managed to subdue him, and while
trying to warn the Omaticaya of the impending attack by the RDA, Colonel
Quaritch disengaged Jake from his link chamber. Seeing his opportunity as
Jake's lifeless Avatar fell to the ground, Tsu'tey tried to kill Jake's Avatar, only to
be stopped by Neytiri. When Jake was re-linked to his Avatar and he told the
Omaticaya that he was originally a spy, Eytukan ordered Tsu'tey to bind his
hands. After the destruction of Hometree by the RDA and the death of Eytukan,
Tsu'tey became the clan leader. After Jake was able to regain the trust of the
Omaticaya by becoming the sixth Toruk Makto, Tsu'tey agreed to fly with him in
the final battle against the RDA. Tsu'tey was killed when he boarded the Valkyrie
shuttle in an attempt to halt its bombing run. Maiming and killing several SecOps
personnel with his bow and knife, he was shot at point-blank range and fell to his
death.

At first Tsu'tey appears to be an arrogant and sometimes merciless warrior who

tries to make things difficult for people he dislikes most notably Jake Sully. He
frequently sneers at Jake when he makes mistakes or embarasses himself.
Tsu'tey sees Jake as a rival for Neytiri and is jealous of Jake's affection for her
and Neytiri's affection for him. When he realises Jake and Neytiri have mated he
is furious and attacks Jake, attempting to kill him but is stopped by Neytiri.
However Tsu'tey eventually realises he is not destined to be Neytiri's mate and
lets go of his grudge against Jake. In a deleted scene it is revealed that he thinks
of Jake as a brother.

Despite his seemingly arrogant nature, Tsu'tey is loyal to his clan and a
courageous warrior. However his courage eventually cost him his life when he
boarded the Valkyrie shuttle.
Tsu'tey was one of the Omaticaya Clan's finest warriors and was a master of the
bow as well as a deadly opponent in close combat. Tsu'tey made a brave attempt
to stop the Valkyrie shuttle, killing several humans single handed before being
shot down.
The Unknown leader of an Eastern Sea Clan is a leader of the Eastern Sea
Clan. She is seen when Jake Sully and Neytiri are gathering all the Na'vi clans
for the defense against the Assault on the Tree of Souls. She is seen with red
body paint, which appears to be traditional for the clan.
