Mr. Christopher T. Mullen has over twenty-five years of experience in a wide variety of professional and customer
services and/or systems engineering assignments in the internet systems, automotive, battery, retail and electric
power industries. Mr. Mullens skills include retail and commercial sales, project management, systems design
and analysis, software engineering, wireless network and handheld systems, and data center management. He
has managed groups in excess of 150 associates and budgets greater than $40 million. Included in this has
been direct experience in growing and managing large professional and customer services organizations,
customer account management, the preparation and management of capital/operating budgets, project
management of large technical projects, and the management of consultants and software developers.

hardware manufacturer with annual sales in excess of 1$ billion.
Area Services Director, North American Sales (1997 to 12/1999)
Responsible for all consultants and customer engineers covering a thirteen-state area and a twenty five million
dollar services quota. Grew project management expertise. Doing so increased billable hours and customer
satisfaction by over 33%. Wrote proposal and helped close the largest service contract in Symbols history.
Professional Services Manager, North American Sales (1995 to 1996)
Responsible for consultants in three states and more than a one million dollar professional services quota.
Doubled professional services revenue over previous year.
Senior Systems Consultant, North American Sales (1991 to 1995)
Managed, on-time and under-budget, the vendor interface for the design, implementation and rollout out of a
chain wide 2300 store wireless retail system at Kmart. Kmart provided +5% of Symbols total sales.
CONTROL DATA CORPORATION (CDC), 1988 to 1991
District Manager, Professional Services
Managed and grew a group of 25 consultants and analysts providing Chrysler Vehicle Engineering system
support for eight CYBER mainframes, data communications and systems support for a 350+ engineering 3D
CAD/CAE workstation network, database design and programming, and product data management (PDM).
Generated $2 million in consulting services revenue which included significant PDM software development and
process re-engineering and $5+ million in computer systems revenue annually. Wrote marketing plan and
managed the development of the Automated Workstation Back-Up (AWBUS) product sold internationally.
GENERAL MOTORS/ELECTRONIC DATA SYSTEMS, 1984 TO 1988
Account Manager, Product Engineering (1985 to 1988)
Was responsible for providing CAD/CAM/CAE, MIS and telecommunication for all of Cadillac Chassis
Engineering, i.e. Seville, Allante, Eldorado, Riviera, Reatta and Toronado. The annual budget for this was $5.5
million, earning over a 25% profit margin. Obtained and administered a three year Research and Development
budget of $6.3 million to redesign the Cadillac vehicle pre-production process.
Data Center Manager, Product Engineering (1986 to 1988)
Managed all aspects of the Cadillac Engineering Data Center, with a $4.2 million annual budget and a technical
staff of 25. Data Center comprised of a large VAX cluster with 500+ on-line users running various MIS and CAE
applications, eleven dynamometers and seven vehicle emissions real-time data acquisition sites, eight
ComputerVision systems supporting 42 CAD/CAM seats and 4 CGS/CAD seats and various gateways connecting
the Data Center to remote IBM mainframes.
Systems Engineering Manager, Technical Services Division (1984 to 1985)
Managed a software and systems analysis group with an operating budget of $1.8 million that performed MIS and
CAE VAX/VMS application programming, real-time data acquisition PDP/RSX programming and ComputerVision
CAD programming services. Group developed most of the IGES test files used by General Motors.
CINCINNATI GAS & ELECTRIC, 1983 TO 1984
Supervisor, Process Systems Group, Zimmer Power Station
Hired as lead engineer in a nuclear power plant process computer upgrade project. Promoted to Supervisor
responsible for systems analysis/design of all plant process computers, e.g. VAX, PDP, Prime and Honeywell.
WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC COMPANY, 1979 TO 1983
Licensing Engineer, Advanced Reactor Division Madison, PA
Analyzed T/H core failures, coordinated and reviewed design base accidents, analyzed thermal loadings on
building structures and performed regulatory review of plant protection systems. Member of the Westinghouse
Speakers Bureau. Worked on third (first commercial) CRAY-1 installation. Vectorized reactor accident analysis
codes to port to the CRAY machine.
