Okay so first thing first we need to decide if we want an anime or a game,

cause thats going to change a lot of shit. If this is an anime I would only
want a roster of 5 characters which I have shown below. If this is a game I
might want to consider expanding the list.

Before I get into the story I want to explain what I did with the characters.
First Im not using any of our real namesbecause it just makes sense. Each
character has their own unique weapon style along with an appropriate
element. Markus and Gabriel have two styles because as they progress
through the story they will achieve a new one, also they are the character we
will open with so it makes sense that they develop a bit further. Each
character can use powers from their element. I dont think Light and Dark
should be given as an elemental power, but we can discuss this further. In
fact at this moment I came up with a way to incorporate it if it is badly
desired. So yeah thats the roster for now, on to the Story.
Character background: Alexander...AV
Both parents wanted to do something about the fighting between the
archangel and archdemon, which were destroying everything bit by
bit....Father made a deal with the archdemon, and mother the archangel.
before their new powers fully settled in, they met one last time and
conceived a baby...which after the birth, they left the child by the village
orphanage with only his first name, Alexander. The parents went their
separate ways and eventually became the new archangel and archdemon.
This transformation was so that there would be less destruction and fighting
so everything wouldn't get wiped out. This outcome made the two factions
live at opposite ends of the world, but this didn't fully stop all the underlings
from doing whatever they please. Alexander, back to the topic, was born with
a bit of power from each parent, along with being a main decendent of the
one of the heroes of the four villages, the village of rock. Because of his
lineage, Alexander has more of a resistance to any attack wether physical, or

magical. NOTE: All history/events from the past are not known. There
are stories and legends that are heard every now and again, but
everyone thinks that they are false or just stories. The main
characters think there may be some truth to the stories, but that is
not important now!
Villages of the main characters
There are four villages total, all a few hours apart in a circle around the old
ruins in the middle of the forest. All people know to stay away from the old
ruins, although they don't know why, they just don't go there. each village is
prosperous in its own way, and they are all friendly and trade supplies to
each other. There is the village of wind, which harnesses the abundance of
the winds and storms they get; this village is prosperous with its use of its
windmills, producing grains, flour, and vegetables. The village of water is just
as prosperous with using watermills, fish hatcheries, and animals. The Village
of rock isn't too prosperous with food items, but it is near large mountain
ranges, rich with many different types of gems and ores. They smelt the ore
into metals they can then trade as is or smith into strong weapons. The
Village of fire is near a dormant volcano, and a large forest. This village
supplies the other villages with lava, fire, and wood for their own useage.
This is the only way for the other villages to get a heat/fire source to cook,
smelt, and boil. The villages all trade with each other, and the people travel
from village to village to settle or help.
Old Ruins in the center of the villages
The old ruins is a place that the villagers know and all try to avoid, they don't
know why, but it's like a mutual "feeling" that they are better off staying
away. The four main characters are different, though they don't know, but
being young and adventurous for the two brothers and their orphan friend,
they wanted to go and explore new parts of the forrest where they practice
their stick sword fighting. While exploring they find the old ruins and are very
curious to see what's around. Alexander, however found the Old ruins while
trying to escape the angry villagers and stayed there and made camp for
himself for a bit. While exploring some more, the two brothers and their
orphan friend found the small camp setup that Alexander was at. After a
small confrontation, they all settled down and began to explain what they
were doing in turn, and eventually becoming friends. The two brothers and
their orphan friend promise to not tell anyone about the Old ruins so that the
villagers don't try and find Alexander, they go back and bring him some food
and they declaire that spot the main area to meet each other at. The Old
ruins, is a place where a piece of omni is sealed away, up until the four
friends accidentally unseal him when they are getting cornered by the
daemons in the beginning.

Story:
I think we could open up with a monologue from Markus saying how the
world wasnt always such a hell. Then enter sort of a flash back. We will open
up in the small village with the two brothers Gabriel and Markus practicing
their swordsmanship out in the forest a short ways away form the village.
They will hear a loud crack, the ground beneath them will shake, and a giant
crater will open up splitting the village in two. The boys will run to the village
to see what is going on and find their parents. As they approach, the sky
turns red and opens up and they can see figures descending upon their little
village. One brother screams, What is going on the other I DONT KNOW!.
Once they hit the village they see creatures crawling out of the chasm and
killing villagers. Buildings are on fire and both the creatures from the earth
and the sky are attacking the humans. The brothers yell for their Dad,
Mother, and Sister. It as at this time you could play as the brothers and run
through the village looking for their parents. Tutorial would have been taken
care of earlier with the practice fighting. The boys run up to where there
house is only to see it up in flames. They yell for their father. Boys! Run! Run
far away! Escape to the next village! At that moment the brothers witness a
large demon tear their father in half. As the demon turns towards the now
horrified brothers a crossbow bolt is shot into its eye. A man grabs the boys
and throws them in a cart with horse. Keep it together! Listen to your Father
and get to the next village! The man jumps on the horse and it begins to
ride away down the path back into the forest. One of the brothers yells
Uncle wait! What about Mom and {inserts sister name}. Forget about
them! They were lost to the fire! Right now the priority is getting out of here!
We can grieve later. The cart is then chased by a winged beast. The
crossbow is out of bolts so the Uncle tells the boys to jump out when he
gives the signal. As they approach the forest the boys jump and the uncle
rides off keeping the beast distracted. As the brothers hide in the bushes
they watch the beast quickly catch up to their uncle and kill the only reaming
family they have left. The boys muster what strength they can and begin
venturing further into the forest, towards the neighboring village. The boys
then head to the other village, fighting mobs along the way. Once they get
their they see the same events begin to unfold and they jump in to try and
help, They run into Jacob, who was an orphan prior to the tragedies but the
village looked after him, The three realize that they village is being lost to
the mysterious beasts and the three boys escape back into the forest. They
decided to make way to the third neighboring village. On their way they are
attack by 2 bandits, Alexander and Romeo. After a quick fight Alexander and
Romeo realize that the three are not beasts. They detail the attack that
happened on their village. The now party of 5 begins to feel hopeless and
wonders where they should go next. With all the neighboring villages being
overrun by the beasts. As night begins to fall Gabriel suggest taking shelter
in the ruins found near the center of the forest. During the night the 5 awake
to find themselves surrounded by both the beasts from the sky and the
ground. All hope seems lost when the ruins suddenly begin to glow. The

beats pounce when a boom voice says Be gone wretches!! a wave of gray
energy shoots out from the ruins disintegrating all the beasts. A shinning
spirit of white, silver and gray, descends upon the boys and says Would you
like to take back the world you have lost?! I can grant you the power to do
so! Markus Steps forward and replies YES! with him the other 4 reply
yes as well. The spirit then says its name is not important but the boys
may refer to him as Omni. He tells them of a war between the light and the
dark. Before there was a balance. But the 2 sides became greedy and have
decided to claim earth for themselves. Humans are caught in the war
between the 2 sides and are being purged from earth. It is Omnis job to
maintain this balance. He grants each boy an element gifted from the
elemental lords under his command. He gives them new gear and a point to
go to. He says This is all I can grant you for now but you will receive more
help from me and the lords further down your journey. There is much work to
be done but with your help we can reclaim earth and bring back the
balance.
Other Notes:
Here are some other ideas I had. First the boys need to free the elemental
lords from prisons made by the angels and demons. Then they need to
defeat 9 angels and 9 demons one for each ring/sphere of heaven and hell
plus all the guardians of the elemental prisons. So right there is 23 bosses.
Of course we can throw in some more fluff bosses if we really need to but 23
is a pretty big number. Hidden bosses wouldnt be hard to do either. As for
the light and dark powers. I think each person can get a light/ darker attack
for their element. So Gabriel would get like black lighting or white lighting
each with a different effect. Each character can get both of these versions so
you wouldnt need to pick a side. New powers/abilities/ and equipment are
bestowed by the elemental lords, Omni and maybe even some warriors they
meet along the way. As a boss is defeated they are replaced with a new lord
appointed by Omni. So really you are trying to flush out the corrupt leaders
to put in new ones that will uphold the balance. It is threw these new lords
that out hero would have accesses to light and dark versions of their
elements. And thats what I have for now. Please excuse any of my spelling
or grammatical errors. I am notorious for being bad at that and I wrote this at
3:00am so work with me here lol. Hope you like what I thought up and of
course it is up for debate. Also im sorry this is so long and thanks for bearing
with me, but I had a lot to say and express.

1. possibility) Because the king/emperor and the Arch Mage used to be best
friends since they were kids, they were always very competative and trying
to be better than one another. Eventually this competativeness led to them
both being selected as the next king/emperor of the land, but it was with this

competition where their friendship bred a grudge by the friend whom lost.
The king/emperor, thought that the best thing he could do for his friend was
to appoint him as the new Arch Mage which would be his right hand man.
Though he accepted his position, it wasn't to help strengthen his friendship,
but to find his own land to rule over, but over many years of learning and his
grudge increasing in strength, the Arch Mage sumerized that the only way to
rule was to kill the king, but he also realized that the king was progressively
shaping the land in his image and all the people loved and respected him
and his ways. The only thing the Arch Mage could think of was to destroy
everything and recreate it in his own way. The Arch Mage, useing all of his
knowlege and skill, ended up secretly creating a new plague. A plague like
none other, to spread death and destruction. The new plague was born and
grew from the Arch Mages own madness. With all he had learned, the Arch
mage was first going to spread his plague to the Arch demon, causing the
angels and demons to break out into war. But the main goal of the Arch Mage
by stirring up the war, was to draw out a greater being not angel nor demon,
but known only as Omni a deity that holds peace and balance. The Arch
Mage knew that if he could only control Omni, then the creation of his new
world would finally begin.
2. Rather than just saying "YES" to recieve Omni's help, we say yes and Omni
asks each of us what we would wish to accomplish other than to restore
peace and balance, which each person states thier own. Thats when Omni
grants us our powers, describing the risk of draining our physical energy and
if too much has been drained, then we die.
3. (in my opinion) to start, we should be told by Omni that in our current
state, we don't stand a chance against any of the angels or demons. Thats
when he tells us to try and focus on finding combat and weapon teachers so
we can get better at fighting without relying on our powers. And he tells us
to keep training ourselves to get better at controlling our powers.
4 note*. Almost everyone is affected by the plague, if not they are either
really lucky or have a strong willpower (like us) to overcome it (maybe having
possible minor side effects as well). The plague is derived from the Arch
Mages own madness, which is comprised of two parts; dimentia and mania.
The demons have their own influence on how big of an area is affected by
the plague, and the angels want to purge it, so they wage war on the
demons. Being evenly matched they just keep spreading, without realizing,
death and destruction.
5 idea. I think, for our final gear we are sent to go get the needed materials
to forge and imbue each piece with some sort of magical
enchantment/power of our choice. My meaning is to have each of what I list
as a different item>>head, chest, leggings, left hand, left shoulder, left foot,
right hand, right shoulder, right foot<< but if anyone wants to have both left

and right hand(for ex.) to have the same power, then it stacks. Weapons
should be the same as the gear( we go and find the mats to forge and
imbue) ALL ENCHANTS/POWERS WITHIN REASON!!!
other ideas: demon ranks: daemon>demon>arch-demon, angel ranks:

squirmishers>warriors>knights>arch-knights>??deity??, omni: deity>archdeity>grand deity
another idea i have is that IF there is omni, a being of peace and balance,
then is there an alter ego of omni? if so, a being of hate and chaos? are they
two parts to the same being that have split?
with the idea above the arch-mage had a grudge against his friend, causing
him to (unknowingly) become a vessel for omni's alter ego to grow stronger
from all the chaos, hate, destruction ect. that the arch-mage causes.
eventually we fight against the arch-mage, and by the kings plea as his
friend asks if we could try to spare his friend. after we win the fight, the archmage and the king work out their friendship. now that the arch-mage is back
to normal, what was the cause? omni's alter ego! we find out that it
manifested inside the arch-mage and grew stronger the more he caused
chaos in the world. we try our best to fight him but cannot win, and we start
geting our asses whooped. I personally see all my friends starting to slowly
die, and the way I am(will die to protect my friends) try to sacrifice myself to
ensure all of my friend's lives. alter omni tries to take control of my body
instead and tries to force me to kill them instead, but with my training to
control myself through various parts of the story, i barely hold him off.
suddenly omni rushes towards me and (fuses?) controls me as well. with the
two deitys in my body fighting for control, the power of them both being
inside my body starts to bring me to agonizing pain from the power of them
fighting and causing my body to start getting destroyed. with the help of the
holyfire and soothing mist powers my friends have, they are able to
temporarily stop my body from being destroyed, but im still in agonizing pain
while omni and his other ego fight. just when the battle for control reaches
its max, my character becomes silent and still(thought to have died) but then
my body starts glowing like omni's, and it rises in the air while a different
voice, no one has heard before, speaks through me. "Do not worry, his body
is severly injured, and not only from physical injuries, but he will be ok. if it
were anyone else, they wouldhave been completely obliterated, but his will
to save his friends and his natural resistance helped to keep him alive, along
with your help as well. if you are wondering if i am omni, then you are
partially correct. i have combined as one in his body and with all of your
help. let me show you all what happened." Everyone is able to see into the
battle from when omni first entered into the body.

power ideas: rather than a light or dark side of our power it should be
destruction and creation instead...... wind: destruction: hurricane with slicing
winds, create: lightning....fire: destruction: black hellfire (hard to control, or
even escapes control), create: holyfire white/gold(purification)....water:
destruction: ice, create: steam(can heal)....earth: destruction: molten
lava/magma(liquid rock), create: plantlife......everything can be altered and
tweaked.
the villages where we are from are very significant towards us for ex. the
village my character is from is (like the others) one part of a fallen
civilization. because of my heritage of unknown history(history was
destroyed) my character is naturally more resistant to any type of damage
being magic or physical. the others, i have not thought of yet.

back to the way it was before all of THIS! I want to restore it to a peaceful
land for everyone to love and enjoy together." Gabriel: "My reason is the
same as my brother's, I want to help him in any way possible that I can!"
Jacob: "I would like to help get rid of this to make all the people who are
afflicted in some way ease their pain and suffering."??<<everyone creates
their own reason, or keep above
Alexander: " My reason is to help my friends and to protect everyone the
best that I can to make sure we can accomplish our achievements." Omni
stares at each of them for a moment more then replies " Well you all have
good reasons, each, and should never forget them. One last thing before I
grant you the powers, and this is very important. I will give you all a trial, a
trial that determines whether you're worthy of your power or not. This is only
an illusion, so nothing is real, but everything can harm you in real life. So you
all have to be careful, because you could actually die from this trial. If you
survive, you pass, and I will then grant you a power that you will be
accustomed to." <<<everyone creates their own trial, ties with your reason

<skip ahead after trials>

Everyone wakes from their arduous trials weak, but alive. Omni then speaks
to them all again "well I see that you all are deserving of the power I am
giving to each of you. That trial was to test how strong your wills are, and
you all passed, your will is how you control your power, and any time you use
your power, it will deplete you of your energy, if all of your energy gets
drained, then you die, so keep practicing and getting stronger to increase the
possibilities of what you all could do with your power. I grant to you Markus
the power of wind, Gabriel the power of fire, Jacob water, and Alexander
earth, remember not to push yourselves too hard while practicing. You all can
stay here to practice and rest, but you will also have to go on your
adventure, so remember to also practice with weapons so you don't instantly
tax yourselves from using your power." Everyone grabs the gear that suits
them and they begin to train to increase their skills with their power and with
their weapons.
They end up training for a little while, and both Gabriel and Jacob
realize that they are not making much progress with their powers, while
Markus and Alexander are just barely making anything happen. A few
pebbles wobbling, or a hint of a breeze, but they both also look extremely
exhausted. Then Omni calls them over and says "so how's the training
going? starting to figure some things out? well in that case, good, because
there is also much more to learn about your powers and yourselves in the
future, but for now we rest." Then Gabriel asks "Why have Jacob and I not
even budge with training with our powers while Markus and Alex are starting
to get a grip on it?" "Well, before I tell you your answer why not you all
contribute to help answer this question?" Markus jokingly says "heh, maybe
it's because you two need to have more focus and determination?" Omni
now says " well thats a good answer, but Alex, what is your idea?" After a
few moments of thinking Alexander says "I think it may have to do with the
environment around us, there is no fire or water around for them to control,
but there is plenty of wind and rock for Markus and I." Omni says "And that is
correct, because when first starting off with training, you can use the
resources around you. While you progress with controlling what's around you
two (looking at Markus and Alexander), Gabriel and Jacob will eventually be
able to create their power from nothing." Jacob then says "Then all we need
to do until we get good enough is to carry water and fire with us on our
adventure." "That is correct Jacob, you can still practice and use your powers,
but you two just need your resources to start you off, so a torch and a
canteen of water should suffice until you two can create your own
resources."
A few days pass and in that time the group has been training hard in
both their powers and with their weapon skills. So far Markus is able to
create a gust of wind that can stagger an opponent and leave them open for
his precise attacks, Gabriel can control a wisp of fire and use it to distract, or

harm an opponent to leave them open for his two sword style. As for Jacob,
he can control the water fluently and can use it to distract opponents in an
area to either go in for an attack or to evade attacks. And for Alexander, he
can slam the ground and create an area that can stagger opponents and he
can use medium sized rocks to launch at his opponents as well, this allows
him to regain his defense or attack. Omni calls them all together to talk with
them once more. "You all are doing well with your training, but you also can't
just stay here and train because you all have to go and find people to train
you with your weapons classification, Markus and Alex a one sword style,
Gabriel and Jacob a 2 sword style, you all have to find someone that can
teach you in the way you are comfortable with for your styles, meaning you
may not have the same person to teach you. You all also need to remember
that whatever is happening is very dangerous, and until you find whoever
can teach you, work together and help one another, but at the same time
find out any information about what's happening as best as you can. I will
reside here and rebuild this sanctuary for you warriors, once you're all set, no
matter how long the training is, regroup and head back here so we can get a
better understanding. Start packing and get plenty of rest before you set off
tomorrow morning."
The next day, the group starts to finish packing up and then Markus
says "Well we're almost ready to head out, but we don't even know where we
are heading. Where do we go to find the people to train us? How far is it?
What might we face?" then Omni replies "Well you can start your search by
heading to a small settlement known as ______(name), it is ________(cardinal
directions, N,E,S,W ect) from here. And as for how far and what you might
face, I shall not reveal for I cannot always help you. You need to go through
your ordeals and perils together to become stronger yourselves, to always be
ready for anything." After getting the rest of their equipment packed, they
head on out and Omni says "One last thing before you go, ALWAYS be on
guard and be careful around everything. You don't know what you could face,
even when you reach your destination, you will never be safe beyond the
reach of my sanctions." everyone replies "Yes", "Ok", "Alright", "Will do".
After the last exchange of words, the group sets off on their arduous
adventure to find out some clues and information about what is going on,
and to find the people they will train with to improve their skills with
weapons.
After a few hours of walking they find a spot to stop and rest. While the
group is resting, they all start to feel uneasy and tense up from this sudden
occurrence. "Everyone on your guard" said Markus, Gabriel pitches in "There
definitely is something strange happening now. Markus, I think this was the
same feeling I got when we saw our village get massacred by
those...damn.....befouled.......FIENDS!" As he starts getting a crazed look in
his eyes, Markus replies "Gabriel CALM DOWN! I...I know the feeling, but
don't lose control of yourself! We all need to find out what's going on and

deal with this mire that's occurring across the lands." As Jacob walks over to
Gabriel, he starts to manipulate the water he has and applies it. Seeing his
brother relax a bit, Markus continues to coerce his brother to calm him even
more. Then Alexander says "Hey guys I think we're being watched cause I'm
pretty sure I saw something moving around. Whatever it is, it's still around,
and by the look of it, it's the cause of why Gabriel was about to rampage so
stay on guard."---"Very smart you are, and "Whatever it is" is a demon just
trying to have some fun. And I almost had him too, that would have been
reveling, but you had to go and ruin it. Don't fret, I'm not here to harm you, if
I were you all would be food for the real beasts and monsters that live in
these forests, so you can lower your weapon." Alexander "Even if you say it,
that doesn't mean anything, I'll keep my guard up thanks, even if you truly
are not an enemy now." "Oooohhh, good answer, and because you answered
correctly, I actually won't attack you! Well, continuing on you killjoys, my
name is Malik and Im not like those others you saw, im not a daemon, Im a
higher rank with far superior skills to those imbecils, im a demon!" Alexander
"Get on with your point! It's not like rank even matters, cause we're going to
beat all of you and put a stop to the chaos you're all causing!" Malik "look im
here in fact to help you find out what's going on, I may be a demon, i love
causing chaos, but if everyone is dead or killing each other and I'm not the
one causing it it's not fun. Like me there may be others that might not like
what's going on, but we're all slowly losing control and before long none will
be able to resist. It may only be us demons causing out of control chaos, but
we aren't the source of all this madness, that is one piece to the puzzle you
have to solve. And now I take my leave, next time we meet I might not be so
friendly or kind, in fact I think I'll challenge you to a fight now alexander, I
hope you are good so I won't get board and disembowel you." alexander " If
its a fight of honor and respect then i Accept, but if not then no" Malik " Ehhh
sure, sure ill play by your rules this time, cause next time I may not be able
to control myself, I'll start off" Markus "Alex, don't be stupid let us help you
defeat this demon, you can't believe him, he'll try to kill you!" Alexander " No
I accept his challenge so I can test my skills, I and I alone will fight because,
for some strange reason, I have a feeling that he is telling the truth,
otherwise why would he have given us any info at all? Let's begin then while
we still can, I won't aim to kill if you don't, but I will give it a good shot.
Clear?" Malik "Crystal. But just so you know i'm only doing this to test out
how strong you, and only you, are with your powers and fighting i could
easily kill you if i wanted, but im simply choosing not to".
<<skipping ahead to after Malik departs after the battle>>
After the spar they all decided to stop there and make a camp. While
getting the camp set up, Markus stops and gathers everyone to talk. "Ok so
we are going to need some water and firewood, while Gabe and I are setting
up the camp, you two go together and watch each others backs." After they
set off, Jacob says "Do you know where to find any water out here since you
practically used to live in these forests?" Alexander "Actually, I used to just

camp outside of a village to return to if i were about to get caught from

stealing their clean water, i was never good at making a fire you see so i just
spent the nights in dark, which also help conceal where I was camping. So I
have no idea, but what if you tried using your power to sense if there is any
water nearby?" Jacob "Well i hope your idea works then, give me a second to
concentrate." After a few minutes of Jacob concentrating, Alexander quietly
draws his sword and whispers "We may have some company, I hope you can
concentrate if there is a disturbance". After another minute, Alexander hears
leaves from branches shuffling and sees small movements of shadows Jacob
says "Ok I know where there is a stream, I sort of felt it off over there a bit"
Alexander "Ok well we have some shady followers and it's obviously not
Markus or Gabe so lets hurry and on the way back I'll grab the wood we
need." They set off in the direction of the stream and stay on guard as they
are followed by the strange shadows. They continue for a bit and after a
couple minutes they arrive at a large moonlit clearing and they can hear the
sound of rushing water running through the center. As they approach the
stream, they feel slightly relieved from knowing that they are in an open area
to see any danger from all sides. Alexander then says "well while we're here,
you should practice some more with your powers to get used to it more."
Jacob says "Yeah, sure, what about you? will you train yourself as well?"
Alexander "Nah there is plenty of time for me to practice on a regular basis.
But you can concentrate and practice only when you carry water on you or
like now when gathering more, go ahead I'll stay on guard."
After letting Jacob practice for about ten minutes, alexander interrupts
Jacob's practice and says "Hey what would ya say to a little spar? that would
help both of us and it keeps us on our toes, I haven't seen any more of the
shadows from earlier, it would be fun, so what do ya say?" Jacob "I accept,
lets say the first to knock their opponent down wins? And nothing too serious
either." Alexander "I understand we are on the same terms, I accept!" They
both draw their weapons at the same time and start to get set. At the same
time they both say "Start!" they begin to circle each other and look for
openings in the other. To start off Alexander takes a small and quick swing
towards Jacob's left leg, but he evasively dodged the attempt. In return, he
readies both his swords and tries to slash both of them at alexander's mid
area, but he blocks by stopping both blades with his sword which he
switched to two hands to block them. Alexander tries to sweep Jacobs right
with his right, the move successfully lands, but instead of falling, Jacob uses
himself being off balance to spin clockwise and tries to put more force in
another slash attack. Alexander pivots his stance to block the opposite side,
which was also successful, but Jacob continued his swings, like a flurry, which
pushed Alexander into constantly blocking the attacks as best he could for a
couple seconds. Alexander quickly back stepped and put his force into
stomping the ground which started to shake and unbalanced Jacob,
discontinuing his flurry of attacks. Alexander took the opportunity to use
Jacob's lack of balance at the moment to try and strongly slash at his torso

using two hands and connecting with the flat of his blade. The move
connects after Jacob used both of his swords to block his chest, as he was
starting to fall, he controlled the water from the stream which shot jets of
water at his arms. He caught himself and regained his balance, then he used
his power to hold water droplets in place around Alexander, like rain had
frozen still in time. Alexander says "Nice way to rebalance yourself, also,
ooohhhhh so pretty!" Jacob says "You're doing well yourself, and you almost
had me there, but don't underestimate what i'm doing now." Alexander "who
says i'm underestimating? I'm going to try something new, I've had a hunch
about it, but I guess now is a good time to test my new trick." Alexander
goes into a more defensive stance and shuts his eyes. Jacob then says
"What, trying to listen to my movements and not get distracted by my rain?
It won't work." at that Alexander smirks slyly. Jacob "I'm right aren't I. Well I
will not let you hear me then." Jacob then proceeds to move, evasively;
quietly; quickly. As Jacob goes in for the strike to knock Alexander down, he
quietly and quickly charged. Alexander stomped the ground again, but
instead of the whole area shaking, a large rock popped up at Jacobs' feet and
tripped him, which he then used his rain to support himself by turning the
water into jets to prop him up again. Alexander then turned towards where
Jacob was and slammed the flat of his blade down on Jacobs' chest and from
his shock, his water jets disappeared and he hit the ground. After he got up
they both put their weapons away and Jacob asked "how were you able to
know where I was to trip me and knock me down? I was not making a noise."
Alexander replied " You thought I was closing my eyes to try and hear you
better, i couldn't hear you at all, but i felt through the ground exactly where
you were and knew when you would attack. After that I figured you would
use the water again to prop yourself up, so I tripped you then I forced you to
the ground after you caught yourself." Jacob stares at Alexander in disbelief
and says "damn I never knew ya had it in ya to be that analytical" Alexander
starts to laugh a little and says "Hey! I'll just take that as a compliment, and
also I didn't know either, but I do know that it was just a small spar and Ill
take it for granted. Now lets get back quickly cause we've been gone quite a
while now, we can explain to Markus and Gabe when we get back." So they
left the same way they came and gathered the wood they needed and
stocked their water.
After they got back to the campsite, Markus and Gabe came up to
them and asked "What took you two so long? We were starting to think that
we were seeing shadows in the darkness." Alexander said while putting the
wood in the fire pit "Sorry, and you were not seeing things, my guess is its
the creatures that live in the forest, we found a stream and i let Jacob
practice and after, we had a small spar." After the firewood was all set,
Alexander said "Hey Gabe do ya want to help sparking the fire?" Gabriel
replied "Sure can I also ask about the spar? Who Won?" Jacob started to say
"It was--" Alexander cut him off and said "Sorry to interrupt, It was a spar to
see who could knock who down, and it was a draw." Alexander subtly gave a

thumbs up gesture to Jacob so he understood. After a few minutes, Gabe got

the fire started and said "Well I guess it was a good match, wish I was there
to watch." Markus then said "Also if you are correct Alex, then we should
probably take turns watching on guard I'd suggest after about two hours
wake the next person up and the last person wakes everyone up so we can
continue, sound good?" Alexander says "I second that, I'll take first watch,
and dont worry I won't practice cause I'd probably wake everyone hahaha.
I'll wake Gabe and stay up a bit longer to watch him train, can't be reckless
with fire, but it gives him some time also." Jacob says "Ok so Alex first then
Gabe will wake me and I'll help him train a bit also and then I'll wake you,
Markus." Markus says "Well it sounds like a good plan lets get some sleep
everyone. And Alex, as long as its nothing too major and loud it's ok for you
to train also." Alexander replies "Ok I'll try not to be too loud then, thanks."
After letting everyone get to sleep, Alexander picked up a few stones
just to toy with them and make them levitate in his palm while he kept
watch. A quarter of an hour passed and he had not sensed anything on the
ground nearby, neither did he hear anything up in the trees around them.
Alexander then tried to see how far and high he could control the stones to
go, he found out that he could levitate them about 20 feet high and about
the same for how far. Some more time passed by and he was starting to get
bored by juggling the stones around, so he had an idea to levitate them in a
circle just above his palm. He wanted to see how fast he could make them
spin, so using both hands one below and the other above he made the
stones in between both his hands spin clockwise. The stones began to spin
so fast that they just looked like a blurry ring between his hands, but they all
spun out of his control and shot in different directions. Alexander was glad no
one woke to the noise and especially that they didn't get hurt, because he
saw an impact mark in a tree where one of the stray stones hit, and the
damage caused was a good chunk of the bark and wood were chipped out.
He wanted to try it out again and realized he needed to control it so he
wouldn't harm his friends, this time he turned to a tree that was a good
distance away from the camp and used that as his target. The next few times
he tried, the stones ended up getting flung at the same time like a scatter
shot. Alexander tried to concentrate on his next try on when he should
release the stones, but also trying to fling them one at a time. After a few
more failed attempts Alexander started to feel fatigued and decided to stop
and take a break until he needed to wake Gabriel.
After the time passed, Alexander woke Gabriel up for his watch. Gabriel
sits up, turns to Alexander and says "thanks for allowing me to train, I know
my power is dangerous and I know I need to train to control it, but what if I
freak out again and I lose control like last time? I might put you all in more
harm." Alexander says "No problem, and if you lose control, always
remember that you have your friends at your back and more importantly
your brother. So don't stress over something like that." Gabriel says "Ok

thanks, I'll remember that, I guess I should start practicing then." Gabriel
then got up and started to manipulate the fire by making it rise and fall.
Alexander then said why dont you try making a flame by breaking it away
from the fire in the pit? Gabriel replied I never thought about that, I was
only making it move and expand and contract. He then focused back on the
fire and tried to make it split, after a couple minutes he was starting to make
the flame fork a little bit into two halves. Gabriel kept trying and every time
the flame forked more and more, and after a few more minutes, he finally
spit the flame in two. He then rose one half in the air and started to make it
move, expand, contract, and split again. Gabriel got the hang of it and split
the flame in two in no time in which after, he started to control both flames
at once and tried to make them expand, contract, and move. When he got
the hang of that he made the flames he was controlling smother out and said
Ill stop now and let you get to sleep, thanks for the advice, Ill keep
practicing and try to do more things. Alexander replies Ok and no problem
Im just trying to help any way I can. Alexander then went to sleep and
Gabriel ended up waiting until he needed to wake Jacob. When the time
came, Gabriel woke up Jacob for his lookout, and so he could practice his
new technique. Jacob got up and Gabriel said "Thanks to Alex, I now have
another technique to practice here let me show you, but if anything goes
wrong please be ready." Jacob says "ok let's see what you can do, I'm ready"
Then within a couple minutes, Gabriel split the fire into two fireballs and
made them circle around him. After five more minutes, he split the two
fireballs into six, with all of them circling around him. Jacob said "wow and
before you could only control one, you're getting better at it, keep it up."
Gabriel then said " I have an idea for my next trick, I'll show you what I have
in store." then right after he said that Gabriel started to make the six fireballs
circling him to speed up more and more. The fireballs started to circle so fast
that they were starting to form a ring of fire, which after a few seconds
formed a full fire ring, which started to shake and become unstable. Gabriel
said calmly "I'm starting...to lose control...I'll try to keep it together to stop it,
but be ready." Jacob said "Ok, you can do this. You can stop it on your own,
but I've got your back." Gabriel put his full concentration into trying to stop
his unstable ring of fire, he was successful at slowing it down to the six
fireballs. He got five back under control, but the last flew out and shot into a
nearby bush. Jacob said " don't worry about it, I can get that just keep at it,
put those out, and then get some rest you did well." At that Jacob then took
out his training water and started to make a big glob of water to put out the
fire while Gabriel started to combine the fireballs and smother them out.
After, Gabriel went to lay down to sleep and said "Thanks man, I appreciate
you helping and believing in me." Jacob said "No problem that's what us
friends are for, get some rest."
The next day arrived and when everyone was awake they all packed up
to continue on. While packing, Marcus looked around and jokingly asked well
I see that the shift trainings went well, seeing as how there is a burned bush

over there and rocks embedded into some trees. So anything new to show
us? Alexander answered first by saying Heh, I was hoping you wouldnt
notice, but yea Ive got a new trick in the development stage, so for now its
still a secret until I perfect it. And Gabriel said I tried my best to not get out
of control, but I messed up. On the other hand however, Im able to create
my very own light show! Ill let you know when Im about to train again so I
can show you. Marcus replied Well I cant wait to see them both in action,
keep it up and Gabe, dont worry about the small stuff youll get better and
thats all that counts. At that, they all finished packing and set out, Marcus
using his powers to make some leaves spin around, Gabriel with his own
fireball as a torch, Jacob with his water manipulating it, and Alexander with a
handful of marble sized rocks making them fly around him in different
patterns.
After half a day of walking, training, and a few skirmishes the group
came to a stop at the top of a hill to take a break. Looking ahead, Marcus
saw the smoke from the village and said Looks like it will be a few more
hours, I can see smoke rising up over there in the distance, if we are lucky
we can get there just before it get dark out. Alexander says So if we rest
up now and save our energy just in case we can make it even if we cross
some trouble, and we can move a bit faster and concentrate more. With
that being said, they all take a ten minute break and regain their energy and
then set off again.
The group finally made it to the edge of the village and could see a few
of the villagers walking around. They could see the village more clearly as
they got closer and while they approached, Alexander said I think we
should be cautious just in case that madness plague, or whatever it is, has
spread here too. And so they all proceeded with their guards up trying to
see if there might be anything wrong about the village. They all got close
enough to see that the village didnt look or feel strange, so Markus said I
think we are all set now, the place doesnt seem different. And Gabriel said
I think so as well cause I think we could sense if it were different, like what
happened to our villages, I felt very strange but I dont feel anything about
this place. Then Jacob said I trust in our instincts, and I agree that there is
nothing different. After sheathing their weapons, everyone continued
further into the village, trying to find any signs for directions to the market
and for the trainers they need to find. They asked the nearest villagers for
directions to the market area and shelter then headed where they were told,
which was about a half an hour walk. The sun was about to set and they
needed to sell the few items they scavenged while they traveled, and get to
the nearest shelter. Everyone found a shelter to stay and used some of their
money to get food and beds, they all were able to finally rest and relax for
that night, and so they did.
The group set off the next morning, feeling refreshed, to go and look

around the village in search of the trainers they need. They searched and
asked around for about a half an hour before a few of the villagers pointed
them in the correct direction to the trainers. After a little while of going in the
desired direction, they started seeing fliers to an advanced weapon training
dojo. They finally found the dojo and when they entered, they waited for a
few of the disciples to lead them into the main chamber where others were
sparring. As they got closer to the trainer, they all were starting to get a bit
more energetic and eager to start with every couple passing moments. When
they finally got to the main hall, two older gentlemen came over as they
entered. The two older gentlemen introduced themselves both as the head
instructors. After the group introduced themselves individually, one of the
trainers said So you all are here for training, but we dont accept just any
people into our training dojo. We would like to know each of your own
reasonings in why you want to be trained. If we do not like your answer, we
will not teach you, if we do like your answer, then we will teach you at no
cost. With that being said which of you will start? Markus took a step
forward I am in need of your training because I have to get stronger and
more skilled for the danger that is to come on my quest, I have to find out
what is the cause for an incident that befell my home village. That is why I
am here to train. Next Gabriel took a step forward I am also in need of your
training for the same reasoning as my brother, and as to not fall behind and
have him protect me, but to stand next to him and stand my own ground, we
can protect each other. Then Jacob took a step forward I am in need of your
training because I have no home to return to and rather than doing nothing I
need to get stronger and more skilled so to be able to help my friends with
their quest. And finally Alexander took a step forward, almost
instantaneously, both instructors expressions changed. I know I am
different, and for that even I dont know why, I have always been looked at in
the same way that you two had just done. I have grown used to that look and
it doesnt bother me much anymore, but since I was an abandoned orphan I
had nothing. Eventually I ended up being found by these guys and became
friends with them somehow. I need to train so that I can protect my friends at
any cost. The instructors both looked appalled and after a moment their
expression changed. One of the instructors said If youll excuse us for a
moment while we discuss this. They both walked into another room and
after a few moments they returned, the instructor said We have decided,
and as for the reasons, Markus yours was good, Gabe and Jacob, your
reasons were a bit lacking, and Alex we both apologize your reason was
excellent, but the overall decision is that you all pass and will be trained at
no cost. We can see the fire and determination in all of your eyes. With that
being said Markus, Jacob, and Alexander all looked at Gabriel in which he
said what are mine actually on fire?! the three laughed and Markus said
No. The instructors had a puzzled look and Markus said We can explain
further what our main goal is, then youll understand. And the group
explained to the instructors about their upcoming quest.

The energy of the group was still rising and they were all eager to
start, then the instructor started Sofirst, we will have you prove yourse---
then out of excitement to start, Markus cut in OHH! Im guessing youll have
us cleaning the dojo from top to bottom to prove ourselves!? Ok guys lets
hurry and get this started.and no powers either. And the group set off to
start cleaning the whole dojo to make it spotless, they started with the
outside and tended to the lawn, pond and garden and roof. Once they were
all done they went back inside and worked on the ceilings, then the walls and
banisters, then ended up with the floors. When they were all done with
everything, they met with the instructors and the other disciples. When they
were all in the same room, the group noticed that everyone was smiling or
trying to suppress some laughter. Then the instructor said We appreciate
the hard work you all have done for this dojo and we all respect that but,
(suppresses some laughter himself), what I was going to tell you was that
you had to prove yourselves by sparring with my brother and I. Then the
whole room went quiet for a moment until Alexander burst out laughing and
the rest of the group did as well then the instructors and the disciples
followed suit. After a few minutes of laughing, the instructor said well with
that out of the way, we see that you all are exhausted and need some rest so
we will spar with you in the morning. With that being said, everyone started
leaving and a few disciples showed the group to their rooms.
