SCHOLALISTIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Worked as an Summer Research Intern (26 May to 21 July, 2012 ) at Washington University in St. Louis, US with Prof
Henric Krawczynski in the field of Xray polarimetry involving work on polarization properties of synchrotron and SSC
Emission from high energy source, model for energy spectrum using polarization property. Apart from this I also received
handson experience in the construction of CZT (Cadmium Zinc Telluride) Detector, its testing and calibration which is going
to be used in our balloon borne experiment called X-Calibur scheduled to be launched in early 2013.In sort major work was
astrophysical data analysis in C++.
Visiting student intern (5 December 2012 25 January 2013) at Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore. I worked with
Prof. Jayant Murthy on Characterization of MCP based photon counting UV detector for high altitude balloon experiments. In
this work I have taken the data in image format and then used MATLAB to extract data from image and do the data analysis
to Characterize detectors.
Attended winter school in Astroparticle physics WAPP2012 (2028 December 2012) (http://grapes
.tifr.res.in/wapp/homepage.html) organized by TIFR, Ooty. This school was mostly hand on experimental and some data
analysis of muon data.
Worked as summer research intern (3rd June 28 July 2013) at GSI, Darmstadt, Germany under guidance of Prof. Peter
Senger, Spokesperson CBM Experiment of FAIR Germany for Quality assurance of Silicon microstrip sensor for the tracking
system of CBM experiment. Also I develop code for data acquisition and real-time data analysis with LabVIEW.
Worked with Prof. Carlos Martin, University of Porto for my master thesis, titled Constraining dynamical dark energy: Lowredshift expansion and early dark energy (10th March 11th July 2014). In this work I used data of SN modulus distance,
Hubble parameter measurement and measurement of fine structure constant from several telescope to constraint model
parameter model by doing statistical analysis in cern ROOT (An object oriented framework for large scale data analysis).
