AFL ROUNDUP: 1B/3B D.J. Peterson is batting .375 (7x22) with 4 runs scored, 1 double, 2 home runs, 7
RBI and 1 walk in 6 games with the Peoria Javelinas in the Arizona Fall League. Peterson currently ranks
5th in the AFL in HR/AB Ratio (1/11.00). SS Tyler Smith has hit safely in 4 of 6 games with 3 multi-hit
contests with the Javelinas, batting .364 (8x22) with 4 runs scored, 1 triple, 1 home run, 2 RBI and 2 walks.
LHP Ryan Horstman has allowed only 3 hits and 1 walk over 3.0 scoreless innings in 3 relief appearanes for
Peoria. Despite being limited only 16 games in his career due to injuries, Horstman has not allowed a run
over his last 23.1 innings, dating back to June 23, 2014. LHP James Paxton is 1-1 with a 1.74 ERA (2 ER,
10.1 IP) in 3 starts with the Javelinas. He has limited opponents to a .279 (12x43) average, while walking 3
and striking out 9 batters. He recorded the win in his last start on Oct. 24 vs. Scottsdale, allowing only 1 run

WELCOME TO THE AFL: OF Dario Pizzano will replace OF Tyler ONeill on the roster Peoria Javelinas
roster in the Arizona Fall League. ONeill will report to Team Canada to participate in the Premier 12
Tournament (Nov. 8-21). ONeill has appeared in 6 games with the Peoria Javelinas, batting .261 (6x23)
with 3 runs scored, 2 doubles, 2 home runs and 4 RBI. Pizzano spent season with AA Jackson, batting .308
(68x221) with 26 runs scored, 13 doubles, 4 triples, 4 home runs, 33 RBI and 19 walks in only 58 games. He
was limited to only 58 games after being placed on the disabled list with a sprained right hand on June 25.
Pizzano recorded a career-high 25-game hit streak, surpassing a career-high 19-game hitting streak with
Clinton in 2013 (19 G, 8/7-25/13 w/Clinton). His streak was the longest by a Mariners farmhand this season,
while also being the 3rd-longest in the minors in 2015.

KYLE PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS: 1B/OF Kyle Petty has hit safely in 3 of his first 4 games with
Adelaide in the Australia Baseball League, batting .375 (6x16) with 4 runs scored, 1 double, 1 home run, 2
RBI and 1 stolen base. SS Jordan Cowan has also hit safely in 3 of his first 4 games with the Bite, batting
.263 (5x19) with 1 run score and 2 stolen bases. RHP Kody Kerski tossed a 1-2-3 8th inning in his only appearance with Adelaide in the Bites 34 loss in 12 innings vs. Perth on Oct. 25.
HES ON A ROLL: After recording the win with 6.0 shutout innings in his first start on Oct. 17 vs. Zulia, LHP Vidal Nuo tossed 6.0 innings
without an earned run in his 2nd starts on Oct. 25 vs. Lara to earn his 2nd win (6.0,2,1,0,2,5,BK). In 2 starts with Aragua, Nuo has recorded 2
wins, limited opponents to a .140 average (6x43), walked 3 and struck out 9 in 12.0 innings.
AROUND THE WORLD: RHP Stephen Landazuri earned wins in each of his last 2 starts and overall is 2-1 with a 3.94 ERA (7 ER, 16.0 IP) in 3
starts with Aguilas de Mexicali in the Mexican Winter League. He has limited opponents to .250 average (16x64), while walking 2 and striking out
24. He struck out 11 batters in 5.2 innings in his first start of the season on Oct. 14 vs. Obregon (L,5.2,3,3,1,11). RHP Carlos Misell is 0-0 with a
