Management Plan
First Offense
Teacher will speak with the
Student about the proper
ways of asking permission
to leave the room for
appropriate reasons.
Student will be told to
speak with Teacher after
school to bring their
concerns to light.
Teacher will speak with
Student about the cause of
their behavior and how
both parties can reach an
agreement as to a
corrective course of action.
Student will be told to
collect needed materials
from the class supplies.
Student will then have to
present missing materials
to teacher before entering
Second Offense
Teacher will have Student
present their passport/planner as
they enter the room. If Student
does not present it, they will not
be allowed to leave the room.
Teacher reminds student that
there are proper channels for
resolving disagreements and that
time would be after class as to
not detract from the learning of
others.
Teacher will remind Student that
their behavior is inappropriate
and that if they need to leave
then they must present their
passport/planner and will not be
allowed to leave the room within
fifteen minutes of the end of the
period.
Student and teacher will have a
conference after school hours to
address the issue and form a plan
to remedy it. This will include
Student tracing daily route on
school map.
Third Offense
Teacher will notify the
administration and/or Student’s
parents of the Student’s behavior.
Student will be restricted from
leaving the room during class time
for any reason other than being
called by a teacher or staff
member.
Teacher notifies administration
and/or student’s parents about
outbursts in class about grade.
Possibly resolved through a parent-
teacher conference if Student is
unrelenting. Teacher WILL NOT
alter grade simply to resolve the
issue.
Teacher will notify the
