OFF: 1; ON: 0
The binary digits are used to indicate cabinet No.: Digit 1 is
MSB (high digit); Digit 4 is LSB (low digit);
For example, if cabinet No. is 5 (0101), the corresponding
DIP setting is:
Digit 1: ON; Digit 2: OFF; Digit 3: ON; Digit 4: OFF.
ON indicates that the pull up/down resistor exists;
Digit 1 and 2 are for CBUS1. On the primary cabinet in the
primary cabinet group, they are set ON, and on other
cabinets, they are set OFF;
Digit 3 and 4 are for CBUS2. On the primary cabinets, they
are set ON, and on other cabinets, they are set OFF.
ON indicates that the pull up/down resistor exists;
Digit 1 and 2 are for CBUS1;
Digit 3 and 4 are for CBUS2. On the primary cabinets, they
are set ON, and on other cabinets, they are set OFF.

Setting method
OFF: 1; ON: 0
The binary digits are used to indicate cabinet
No.: F_ID3/ID6 is MSB (high digit); F_ID0/ID3
is LSB (low digit);
For example, if cabinet No. is 5 (0101), the
corresponding DIP setting is: F_ID3/ID6: ON,
F_ID2/ID5: OFF, F_ID1/ID4: ON, F_ID0/ID3:
OFF.
OFF: 1; ON: 0
The binary digits are used to indicate frame
No.: B_ID2/ID7 is MSB (high digit); B_ID1/ID2
is LSB (low digit);
The frame should be numbered from bottom
to top starting from 0;
For example, if frame No. is 2 (10), the
corresponding DIP setting is: B_ID2/ID7: OFF,
B_ID1/ID2: ON.
ON: Resistor available; OFF: Resistor not
available;
The DIPs on TRB which is located at the end
of clock bus are all set ON, and other DIPs
are set OFF;
The location of TRB various according to the
type of BTS:
BTS312: Frame 0
BTS3012A: Frame 2
Caution:
1) The DIP settings of TRB have already been finished before delivery. Therefore, do not change the
settings unless necessary.
2) TRB, as the transceiving unit backplane, is in the TRX frame. For BTS30's or BTS30A, the DIP on the
TRB can only be seen after removing the TRX in the slot of TRX6 and for BTS312 or BTS3012A, the
TRX in the slot of TRX2 and TRX4 should be removed.

Note:
BTS3001C provides two optical transmission modes:
1) In physical, transmission between multiple BTS3001Cs via optical fiber. When allocating services on
the link, each BTS3001C service occupies a 2M line. The connection mode is the same as the star
networking between BTS and BSC by E1. In this mode, multiple BIE (Base station Interface Equipment
board) ports on BSC are occupied.
2) In physical, transmission between multiple (2~5) BTS3001Cs via optical fiber. When allocating
services on the link, all BTS3001C services share the same 2M line. The connection mode is the same
as the chain networking between BTS and BSC by E1. In this mode, only one BIE on BSC are
occupied.
If BTS3001C adopts the first mode, the settings of S10 and S11 should adopt the default ones. If
BTS3001C adopts the second mode, it is necessary to change the default settings of S10 and S11.
