HIGH SCHOOL PROFILE 2015-2016

VISION & MISSION STATEMENT

GRADING SYSTEM

Vision:

BIFS uses a 4.25 point scale for its GPA purposes, which is
weighted an additional .25 point for all IB Standard Level
(SL) courses, including Theory of Knowledge, and .50
point for all IB Higher Level (HL) courses. BIFS does not
provide individual class rankings; yet, upon request, BIFS
will provide universities with an approximate percentile
standing to assist with university admissions.

Our students will develop and pursue their passions, be

successful, and contribute to a positive global future.
Mission:
We are a diverse, supportive and dynamic international school
that inspires and challenges students to explore, discover and
thrive in the global community to which we belong.
