THE PARK, THE PALACE N HIS CARS.N A WHOLE

LOT OF PEACOCKS

Well after the excitement of the night what with some one
trying to turn BC in to a human tandoori chicken seekh n
succeedingpart of the way.the seekh aka knife in my
pursen me having no recollection of it. ( mostly
because I am a vegetarian n not a cannibal.besides not
really hungry after a heavy breakfast of poori
aloo:).Rampyara to Ram-ko-pyara ho gaya.rampuri
mere paas chor gaya i needed to think
N what better place to think than turning around in a spot
of green or parks as they are called quaintly.
I love green on the ground .n not just in my food. Trees,
park garden I can breathe without them (most of Delhi
can't breathe anyways because of pollution n spm)
.luckily my colony has several patches of green. These
no name local parks are called by the name of the
landmark that vary from people to people.I call them all
concept park because I go there to thinks.n define the

conceptual world. Colloquially lake park, mountain park ,

market park.n my favourite peacock park
I love it because if you hit it early sometimes you can see
the peacockson the roofs(sadly lament the antique
house for that has been brought down by yet another
multi storey apartment concept..an the paucity of area
for the beautiful national birds. Habitateven building
complex in mountain park:() a couple of times I have seen
them dancing trying to impress a couple of
peahens.males I tell youthey are all
alike.irrespective of the species they belong to
Each park will have its share of yoga n laughter
clubs.they are almost drgul . Its like flies attracted
to honey.i can almost swear that even if there was a
single blade of grass anywhere in del there will be a yoga
teacher and atleast one portly lady/ gentleman trying to
stretch to do an impossible asan after a while giving it all
up to do shav asan or chantBetween shav asan n surya
namaskar n throw in kapal bharti as well in you have a DIY
maggie (oops I said the m word) yoga .no prior
experience or flexibility required

The peacock park was erstwhile jhoole wala park .cause

it had a jhoola that I loved to ride onwell the jhoola gone
so rechristened to peacock park.
Well a few twists should help me figure out what the hell
happened to BC n why am I the only one involved ..n
bang my eyes collide with a quote ( motivational stuff
posted as a pick-me-up which I think is great) .today is
the best day,.I hope so, I surely hope so.
The other good thing about his park is the quality and car
models that aboundso how does it work.do people
become rich if they buy a house around this place.an
they invest their ill begotten or well deserved ( as the
case may be) gains in fancy cars.or is it that only the
riche can afford to grow roots here( aside from the trees
ofcourse). Well whatever the case may be this parks
boundaries act as a parking lot for some of the fanciest
cars in the neighbourhood..not the antique or designer
ones but more punju style loud latest n hugeeee pricetag. Apparently life is too dynamic in the fast ultra riche
lane for anything less then an audi merc bmw jaguars
liketo keep up with. I have a feeling that if anyone ever

drove in with a nano .the guard would probably shoo

him outside the gates :) ditto if you don't have the latest
BSc aka bags shoes car club
I don't about B or S buuttt I am carcrazy.to the extent
that when the auto expo rolls its carpet in del I am one of
the probably 5 females who pays to watch ..( the others
being skimpily clad car hostess that people pay to watch
an are almost as big an attraction as the gaddis
themselves)
In fact one of my fav car long drive games on foggy winter
days was to try and identify the car model by its tail
lights..( each model as a different one.duh)
It was a car that brought BC in to my life.
